I saw somebody doing a number on the "306" sign while I was leaving. Got three bolts out, last I saw.

...wish I had thought of that.

That was the problem in the last game at Shea. Pittsburgh blew us out and eliminated us from contention in a year when we were predicted by many to go to the Super Bowl.

if this was the stadium where you saw your first and every other jets game or experiance it might mean something to you. in reference to the "why" factor of this thread. i dont care if it was called giants stadium, i never thought of it that way, not once.

I think it had more to do w/ leaving NYC and sharing a Stadium w/ the Giants. Jet fans were pissed the team was moving. I think even had the Jets gotten killed last night there wouldn't have been major problems b/c they are better equipped to handle that type of situation than they were in 1983.

I have a huge emotional attachment to that Stadium. I hate it but I'm sad to see it go. I spent so many days there watching the Jets play, I spent many games watching w/ my dad who is no longer alive. I was flashing back to some great memories during that 3rd qtr last night when the game was no longer in doubt. I hate the red and blue seats, I hate that it was called "Giants Stadium" but it was a great place to watch football and I am saddened to see it go.

Same here. As a Jersey guy I have mixed feelings, went there when it opened with my parents, a lot of concerts with friends, etc. A shame, there's no need to destroy it except greed.

Saw lots of seats walking out the stadium. Supprisingly, I did not see too much security/police. Folks just covered them up and quietly walked out.

    LOL-

You can buy the entire seat online. I would not want a red seat bottom, I've 20+ years of memories there, but they're red and freakin blue-

    lol

Yeah, but it's not the same-

When the close up the New Meadowlands I'll be all about it.

The Giant fans should've ripped them out in their embarrassing last home game ever effort.

I broke part of the seat in front of me off pounding on it to make noise. Took it home.
