They all fall into 2 distinct categories 1) I want the Jets. Rookie QB, they won't run it on us and can't stop us...We are going to destroy them 2) The Jets are really capable of running the ball and they scare me the most. I don't want to play them AT ALL. well they haven't lost since... early october? their run D is pathetic though, i really think we match up well against them.
i agree....i think the chargers are a realllly good football team but we seem to matchup with our major strengths in ALL the right areas what do the chargers rank against the run?
I've been having fun over there. The cocky attitude is at an all time high though. I guess maybe they should feel cocky, but I almost feel like they are a little delusional if they think they will just run over the Jets and their D. I know I'm a little biased, but I don't feel like any team should feel like they are just going to plow over a team. I don't know, I guess we'll just see what happens.
I read in another thread that the chargers are ranked 20th in rush defense which is a plus. We need to be fully healthy though next week. The have way to many great targets in their passing game. Plus they've got physical receivers with great size
i agree with your post 100 %. i'm not saying we are world beaters but what i do think is that we can hang with the best of them...anyone who says we are an easy win is ridiculous and obviously isn't paying attention...but to be honest I like it that way
i was REALLY glad to see Sanchez revert back to his former self (3-0) thinking he HAD to air it out at least 250-300 yards to keep up with Eli's brother. But now that we are playing the Bolts, it's run baby run. Burn the clock. Let our #1 pass defense rest between series. Introduce LT to a healthy Harris. Look for a HUGE dose of Greene. Brad Smith will run/pass AT LEAST 8-10 times in this game. Cotch, Keller, BW will all be huge. Rex will unleash the band of loonies like never before. Jets 27 Bolts 21
I think they're also 31st rushing the ball. A lot will come down to whether we can cover their big receivers.
I agree with alot of what you said, only thing I want to add is that with the Run offense and their long drives, it'll be harder for River's to get into rhythm, because its hard to do so from the bench

Bunch of idiots. Be prepared to see a lot of Eric Smith in the middle of the field. If Strickland comes back for this one, those screens to Sproles are not going to matter. San Diego delenda est.
This has been a fantastic weekend for us. I really prefer the match-up with the Chargers over the matchup with the Colts. We CAN win this game. Will we? I can't say. We definately deserve to be underdogs but I really think we have a chance in this one.
Nothing like a good ol' fashion board war!!! Every board thinks highly of their team. We prob come off the same way to them haha.
