Right on. He's basically admitted that he pushes the Jets fans buttons because it makes for good radio and it gets a ton of them to call for hours on end. As far as if he actually believes what he's saying, on the YES network he smiled and said, "Maybe I do, maybe I don't." Seems like a lot of fans on this thread are falling for his schtick.
his tired "schtick" has people turning the dial to 1050 to listen to a legit sportstalk show where callers aren't interrupted and attacked and where the hosts actually want to discuss the Jets and interview Jets and former Jets. Its fun to mock mike for being a cranky idiot, but I'd much rather listen to 1050.
