Complete agreement. I eat before the game and sometimes during halftime. Other than that, it's damn near impossible for me to even think about eating at a time like that.
I disagree somewhat with #4. Wife and kids can go. The Dog Stays! Nice checklist. Question: Is it appropriate to wear my Pennington jersey today?
I cant even drink. I just stand up in front of my TV like a retard and dance around nervously....my wife hates me. I say fuck her ass, this is the playoffs
Make it three mad Englishmen - plenty of snow (although not as bad as gustoonarmy) here in Hull as well. Unlike Sheffield we also don't have hills here, but I guess there's an 80% you live on hill (!!!) so be careful when you're going mad around 1am tonight J-E-T-S!!!
Phew! I thought it was just me in the retard club. That said the Jets made it easy for me last week - only needed to the retard dance for the 1st quarter - after that it was just an easy procession. One of the few times I've watched the Jets and not aged a year or two!! :jets:
Most English Jets fans live in the North or Scotland it seems. Sandman!!!?? 7 to Shea Chad represents SOJs...get another Jersey !!
bars to watch the game anyone know where i can find some fellow jet fans at a bar in central jersey area...i cant sit still im so pumped right now!
Right pre game ritual starts and seeing my last 2 weeks watching the jets win have been in vegas and not on ganggreen, I am not breaking tradition so.... I am off to gamble / get served drnks by a wrinkly late 30s woman ( wife) and sit next to 20 orientals...my local pub kitchen!!! Enjoy!!!
Damn I wish the game was at 1! Waiting till 4 sucks!!!!!! Anticipation is at an all time high right now!
just cut up a deer yesterday...i got venison loins marinating and venison stew and chili on the stove as we speak! over 60 beers left over from the game last weekend too! YEAAAAA
Was thinking the same. Maybe we instinctively pick a team from the north of USA to correlate. On that basis everyone from London must like Miami!
Ha! I love this. Good to know I am not alone in my mad crazy behavior. Even when I'm trying to sit down my legs start a life on their own!
I have a weird pregame ritual today. 1. Drive from Manasquan, NJ to Villanova, PA to go to Villanova-Marquette basketball game. 2. Drive home from Villanova, PA to Bryn Mawr, PA (no more than 5 minutes unless it's a bitch leaving the bball game). At the same time, order pizza so it arrives around 4:30, and I don't have to miss any gametime. 3. Crack open a beer. 4. Throw on my Leon Washington or Mark Sanchez jersey. 5. Enjoy the game!
As the guy in Life of Brian said: "You lucky, lucky bastard." My wife hates football, but at least I have two sons, the first of which is almost ready to begin his initiation into the Jets brotherhood. Enjoy the game with your family Gus! I think it's going to be special.
