Of course--G Sauer Jr is perhaps the most underrated receiver in Jets history.

Just differentiating...I'm more Sweet & Sour...Sour when I see stupid moves or hires, sweet on performance.

Cotchery could run a drag route underneath as a safety valve, or he could run the deep middle route with Keller running the drag, or Cotch could take the play off.

BTW...who does that beautiful behind belong to?

I really wish we'd use Clowney more, he's obviously got talent. Sucks that some guys just never get the consistent chances, he has the potential to be a very explosive player for us.

I'm with you on that, I'd love to see his number retired.

I frequently watch the Super Bowl DVD and he was crucial. 128 yards receiving.

Was that Clowney's first inactive in awhile? I know he was for Atlanta game, but that was his first inactive since the benching. Any chance Rex was playing a little possum with him? Knowing they would run 50 plus times against Cincy this past week, and maybe have him active and a deep threat this week? Just taking a stab... maybe an interesting take, considering in the OP's original thread Clowney is a key part of that...

He was inactive for three. Not saying he is a secret weapon or anything. Just a thought.

The point is why keep Clowney active if you know you aren't going to use him.

At this point of his (Sanchez) career Woodhead is much more useful to Sanchez (being a slot that can catch passes in the short high percentage passing game) than Clowney who's main ability is the deep ball. When they'll let Sanchez throw more they'll use the Clown more...
