I don't know where you learned to research but "not getting laid" and "making sports predictions" has no correlation whatsoever. Again, making predictions (biased or not) is a huge part of sports. Why do you think many media outlets make Super Bowl predictions even before the preseason starts? I don't worry so much about jinxs and that sort of thing as that a situation like we're in right now, a playoff game coming up tomorrow with the Jets in it, that's part of the beauty, right now I can't think of a bigger part, of being a football fan who is a fan of the Jets. It's all about the game right now. Yeah, that doesn't mean there aren't all these interesting questions concerning what might happen if they win. I would not say I have not thought anything about that. Nothing wrong with thinking ahead in life in general, or here, either. But it's not my main focus. It's kind of like thinking about having a few beers after a late afternoon fuck fest with the wife or girlfriend or both. It's not the first thing on my mind when right in the middle of the old in out. I hope the analogy makes the point.
