He has been on the show once. Funny thing is 1hour before Rex got on Mike was talking shit(not too heavy like normal though) and he didn't say one word to Rex if I remember. It was basically a press conference. Than Rex got off and Mike responded to what Rex said without having Rex to defend himself.
Francessa has a point about Ryan's "We're the best" statement. Hey, I understand you want to instill confidence. How about "I have confidence that we can go far in the playoffs. I believe this team can achieve anything". Then you sound like a confident NFL coach, instead of an 8 year old on the playground. The only thing worse than a loser is a loser with a big mouth. That being said, a lot of the crap from Francessa and his callers sounds to me simply as they believe the Jets should just shut up and go away. How dare the Jets make noise? Don't they know this is a Giant town? That is bullshit, and no matter how much Francessa denies it, there is more then a little of that sentiment in him.
Wow a positive comment on the Jets from Mike, saying SOJ is a myth. If the biggest anti-Jet can see that, why can't we?
