I honestly dont think suh is going to be as good as everyone thinks he is. I really think he is going to be the Gholston of this draft. Can you say Dewayne Robertson anyone

Wha? Suh's the best defensive player in college football. Robertson flew up the draft boards post-combine. I don't understand this comparison.

You should watch the guy play before you compare him to prospects he has nothing in common with.

I guess the fact that he has extremely similar size and style as a one gap defensive tackle prospect is nothing in common. I understand robertson's standpoint during the draft but I think taking a dt that high is always a huge risk

Suh was a Heisman finalist...as a defensive tackle.

He was a game changer at a position that is always overlooked.

Comparing him to Vernon Gholston and Dewayne Robertson is one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time.

Unless he gets seriously injured over and over and over again, Suh will be a dominant player in the NFL.

He's the closest thing to a sure thing in 2010's draft.

How about the lack of bone-on-bone knee condition, a high motor, a high football IQ, great technique, and...what else?...no bone-on-bone knee condition. Everything that Robertson didn't. Oh yea, and Suh is 4 inches taller than DeWayne, a big difference with DLinemen. Nice try, though.

Again, if you WATCH them play they're nothing alike. Them being similar in size (which they aren't) it totally irrelevant, and DRob even in college was never very good against the run.

Taking any position in the draft is a big risk. Robert Gallery was considered the safest pick in the 04 draft, and now he's playing guard.

Could Suh be a bust? Sure, but nothing about his play on the field would lead you to believe that.

The more I think about Taylor Mays moving to linebacker, the more I think it could happen.

Oakland needs linebackers. The contracts of all three starting Raider linebackers (Thomas Howard, Kirk Morrison, and Ricky Brown) end after this season. I'm willing to bet two of the three won't be brought back.

It would be typical for Al Davis to pass on LBs like Rolando McClain and Brandon Spikes for a workout warrior type player like Taylor Mays.

Jason Pierre-Paul is also a possibility for the Jokeland.

If the Rams are seriously considering drafting a QB, they damn well better start working the phone lines to get someone to trade up. Suh should be taken #1, and if someone wants him, the Rams might be able to move down a bit and nab either Clauson or Bradford.

TheCoolerGlennFoley mentioned that earlier in this thread.

Detroit and Tampa Bay need Ndamukong Suh. St. Louis will be able to switch places with Tampa and still land Jimmy Clausen.

The Rams get their QB and the Bucs jump ahead of the Lions and take Suh.

The leaves the Lions is a pretty shitty situation...they should probably go after an offensive lineman. The BPA will be Eric Berry, but the Lions need to protect Matt Stafford.

If they end up taking a offensive lineman at #2, it'll be a major reach.

This brings into play a trade out if the Skins or Seahawks get major wood for Clausen and/or Bradford.

And taking Gerald McCoy at #2 isn't exactly what I'd call a shitty situation.

...definitely not. I just think the Lions will feel as if they missed out on Ndamukong Suh.

Suh has star power...a rare quality in DTs. We haven't seen that since Warren Sapp. He'll be able to sell a shit load of jerseys.

The Skins could package Jason Campbell and their first if they want Jimmy Clausen or Sam Bradford.

God, I can't wait until April. It'll be interesting to see how the top of this draft unfolds.

I could see a package of the #4 and Carlos Rogers to the Lions if the above Ram/Buc trade goes down. It'd be the ideal situation for the Lions: drop two spots, pick up a decent CB and still land McCoy or Berry.

I do think that there is going to be movement in the top 5 this year.

    Somehow I don't believe that.
