This is good though. With other media outlets naming him the DPOY, the voters have to take notice.

jeese everyones comments on the article are Woodson is so much better and would have won if he played in NY instead of GB. People who dont watch Revis are just dumb for stats.

Its the highlight reel plays that gets ppl jizzing all over themselves.. Woodson gets burned about 4 times a game, but then will get a pick 6 to make up for it.. While on the other hand Revis has been burned once this ENTIRE YEAR... Not to mention that he completely negates the other teams best wide out every single play...

At the end of it all Woodson will win the award... so you guys shouldnt fool yourself

What a joke, all of the comments.

What a joke......How many Interceptions, forced fumbles or defensive touchdowns......Revis can not compare to Woodson in any of those catagories......Woodson took over games this season.......NYC influence once again! Switch teams and the winner of this award would of been Woodson.......NFL awards like real estate....location, location, location...."

They don't know anything about football.

The casual or "dumb" NFL fan does not see all Revis does for this defense. Of course his stats and passes defended are great, but he means so much to this D its not even funny.

"It's very apparent who understands football in this thread. The people who say Revis, aren't among that population. People who think Revis is the best defensive player, only watch SportsCenter, or play Madden."

Woodson gets the love because of his name and who hes related too. Had Revis been called Woodson, he'd already have his name on the trophy.

To be fair, it is true. If Revis were on Green Bay and Woodson on the Jets then Woodson would be an absolute shoe in for the award while Revis would only be noticed by hardcore football fans.

Also, I don't understand why some Jets fans seem so intent on tearing down Charles Woodson. I think that Revis has had a better year and deserves the award, but Woodson has been nothing short of phenomenal this season for the Packers and would be perfectly deserving in his own right.

I'm not tearing down Woodson, but the people that support Woodson tear down Revis. It's usually the people that look at stats only to compare CBs.

These are the people who voted Champ Bailey over Asomugha in 2009.
