"Okay guys here's what I think happens. Remember last week, the Jets made it pretty darn clear that the Sunday night game was going to be a battle of the two teams on the ground? Ryan even said it was going to be whoever got the best blocking from the two offensive lines and that he felt confident his guys were up for the challenge. Well, the Jets went on and ran like a billion plays and dominated, which I'm sure everyone already knows. I think that was all a set up for the following week. Check it out... He knew we wouldn't try that hard anyway the first game.

He also knew that if he exposed our run-stop defense we would work all week patching it up and preparing for Jones and Bradly. He even through in a couple of wild cat plays(which was a smoke-screen) so our team would prepare for false plays. <Please keep in mind this is all my opinion...

What he really intends on doing is the opposite. He will come out this week throwing short passes to the flat to Shawn Green. Zimmer needs to prepare for the pass. The conditions are going to be very cold which I think even helps Ryans gameplan. By it being extremely cold we will think they are going to run again especially after last week.

I am counting on Sanchez airing it out deep to Edwards in the first couple of plays and mainly running in the second half. Because we will be prepared for the run early(which Rex knows) he will get his wish and Edwards will be single covered by Leon which isn't a very good match up for us. I think that's going to be the difference if the Jets do pull out a victory. (We prepared wrong) Any opinions? Oh yea...One more thing I forgot to say. I think they will be passing to that tight-end Keller guy a bunch so we should prepare for him as well."

lol they think they got us figured out

I think he's over thinking. It's going to be another cold day and the Jets will run all day once again.

Yea we've pretty much had the same game plan all season long. It's not going to change for this game just because we just played them.

I love how Bengals fans somehow thing we showed them everything last week so we're at a disadvantage. They had 16 weeks of film to see the same shit. Likewise, we had 16 weeks of film on them so them "not showing anything" would be irrelevant.

Listening to Jets players, there were 2 differences in what Cinci did Sunday.

    1) They passed more often than expected. This was likely because we were shitting on them.

    2) They didn't do a lot of pre-snap motion that they had been doing all year. We already have 16 games of film on that.

I read that thread as well. When I read it all I could think about was how little confidence the posters had in their team.

I looked all through the forum and their fans seem to be rather intelligent and a little to Christian for my taste.

Give me some fucking kick ass gang green shit any day over their lame ass forum..

Wow. Is there any way we can delete that thread before word gets out to the Bengals coaching staff? Rex had better start working a new game plan.

Check this out!! We should punt on first down. They totally won't expect it and I think we could really get a good punt off. I also like cheese.

lame. Like WSW said, there's no "surprises" in store for either team. Maybe a new play/formation here or there, but after 16 weeks, every team knows about every other team.

How many times has Greene been the atrget of a pass? I think i saw one the whole year that lists him as the target, and that was just Sanchez throwing it away. Greene just happened to be in the vicinity.

We are what we are. We are not gonna come out 5 wide and be the Chargers. The place is gonna be rocking and the Bengals will come out pumped after last weeks ass wooping. We need to play very conservative on offense to start the game, let the defense weather the storm and once we get some 3 and out's and a couple of first downs, the Bengals and their fans will be put back in their place and we will pound them into submission

We have a rookie QB playing his first playoff game on the road.

It does not take a football genus to tell you what plays Our offense is using this week.

    This fan is out there!

I don' think the post was that out of whack at all (maybe some of the details were way off and perhaps airing it out isn't what i'd say). but i can see them coming out with a few play action long passes right out of the shoot...and a little more throwing and tiger formation in general. but this is the advantage of totally steam rolling them......we're in the driver's seat as far as game planning goes. The jets can have more of a gambling mind set now that they are in.

We should run a play action slant to keller on first down. That would really confuse the shit out of the Bungles.

First play, play action, 70 yard pass to Braylon.

Agree 100%. We cant come out throwing the ball early...NO WAY! Stick to the plan thats worked all year. Weather the storm...the crowd is going to be going ape shit. Even if we only get a few so-so possessions in the first quarter...I'll take 3 pts and a few punts.

If we ccoming out throwing and Sanchez gives up a pick 6 I don't know if we'll recover. (i.e. Jags game). Make them play our way.

Or...we totally fuck them up and line Kellen up at HB and Douglas as a WR

    ...maybe not...

If it works there will be a thread created saying he's a hero...if it doesn't there will be a thread created gathering volunteers to drive him to Buffalo. Such is life on TGG.
