How is that this team's AWFUL defensive coordinators keep getting more jobs? First Cottrell and now Sutton?? Didn't Cottrell get canned midway through a season with his next team?

I just got off the phone with a good friend of mine...who's a diehard Giants fan. He's ready to cut his wrists over this....:rofl: speaking of "cutting wrists"....LTS may have to be put on suicide watch.
I'm sure once they look into it further there will be no chance that he gets hired. But given that this defense ranks first by a lot in a few categories, I'm sure most of the coordinators/coaches on this defense will get looked at.
Sutton sucked running Mangini's 3-4. He's looked very good in the contributions he has made to Ryan/Pettine's 3-4. I can see the Giants giving him a long look at this point. They won't hire him but they'll look. It's not coincidental that the Jets are making waves in the Big Apple and the Giants are trying to make counterwaves at this point either. The Giants have always tried to one-up the Jets when things looked like they were turning up.
This new decade is certainly heading in the right direction. If Sutton can convince the Giants to take Gholston with him as a package deal.....I may head to the race track to bet the farm.
