Wow. Still, no matter the past history, a child is a child, a daughter is a daughter, and a son is a son. That never changes. Condolences to the family, and Woody Johnson. R.I.P.

    Lets win Saturday for Woody.

LOL, oops. Football on a Saturday isn't as natural as on a Sunday.

You guys know how I feel about our owner but I wouldn't wish anything like this on anyone.

To go from celebrating a Playoff Birth to the death of your daughter is just unfair.

While I do share some of the sentiments of those who really aren't going to shed a tear because we see these spoiled teens going unparented and acting a fool in their social circle only to wind up dead because of their indulgence and lack of parental guidance, Sometimes it comes down to just that.

I used to look at it that way too MB.

Some of these rich kids that have it all and still...cant make it. Things have changed in my mind though. I have seen both sides go down the tubes and they all have the same thing in common. Low self esteem that money cant buy. We think the rich can overcome it easier because on a sad day...they just can go out and buy a plane

Just doesnt work like that. It means nothing. I will never really understand inner happiness and what makes some people content..and others so self destructive.

Im sure either Woody saw this day coming...or looked the other way..which is pretty normal..you just burn out worrying. Hope he finds his peace.

On the news, I believe it said he wasn't close with her. Still, it's a daughter and must be tough on him and everyone in that family. I just hope it doesn't eat at him, and Woody begins to believe "well, if I looked after her more, if I was there more, etc, etc...this would have never happened" because it is not true.

Once again, R.I.P. Death is never an easy thing, no matter the person who passed.

Wow... I feel terrible for Woody. Just a roller coaster 24 hour ride for him. I (fortunately) have never buried a child but I buried my one and only sibling so from seeing how my parents had to deal with it I can only imagine what Woody is going through. No matter how awful of a daughter she was he did not deserve this.

What makes matters worse is that attention whore Tila Tequila trying to capitalize on the whole thing. Rather then respect the dead and her family this bitch is out there using twitter to send out false news.

It doesn't matter how much money and power you have, losing a child is something you never get over. The pain and guilt are permanent, regardless if you're a billionaire or if you're poor.

Something needs needs to be done about these designer prescription drugs which have infested society. Big pharma needs to get responsible or be held accountable for the poisons they are manufacturing. Being in the pharma industry, maybe Woody can take this negative and turn it into a positive by spearheading some legislative reform.

    Condolences to the family,

how do we know it was pharma drugs? it could of been street drugs...but either way its horrible and I agree with your comments fully.

Some of these drugs are just flat killing people. Johnson is in a position to have a voice and I hope he uses it.

There is NOTHING that Woody Johnson could have done to save his daughter from her fatal addiction.

Just like Ethel Kennedy's son, billionaire heiress Christina Onassis, Michael Jackson etc, etc, etc.

Once they are 18 yrs old, you cannot lock them up in the Betty Ford Treatment Center and force them to get well.

One of the senators wrote a great article about the tragedy of his daughter' death at age 25. She was found frozen to death behind a dumpster, after being dead for 3 days from her alcohol addiction. The senator had gotten her into rehab numerous times, it just never worked.

Just like any other fatal illness....this is a sad tragedy.

    Condolences to the Johnson family.

Little point in saying anything other than what a shame another life got wasted. I don't care how estranged a family member might be, it's a very sad event. Woody is easy to take shots at, rich guy, owns our team.... but something like this reminds us that in many ways, the privledged at the end, aren't so different from the rest of us.
