First of all, kudos to you. As I sat in my climate-controlled den, reclined at the perfect position, I thought of you, the "warriors," who toughed it out.

    A few questions-

    1) In the first half, how loud was the crowd really? It was tough to appreciate it on TV. What did come through crystal clear was a few "asshoooooooole, assssssssssssssssssshole" chants.

    2) How cold was it? Bone-chilling, "can't feel my balls" cold, or just "this sucks to be outside" cold? Did layers even make a difference when you were sitting outside for 3+ hours?

    3) When did the place really start to empty out? Couldn't believe my eyes when I looked around at some point in the 4th and the amount of empty red seats was really glaring.

It started emptying out in the third quarter. And yes my friend...it was faackin freezing. Plus Gate A was ridiculously held up. So you had people shivering and needing to pee so the complaints started rolling.

But man what a sick atmosphere. The place was rockin.

It was fairly loud. Not as loud as the Pats game but certainly loud enough to mess up the Bungles rhythm.

It was very cold in the lot. I could not walk away from the fire for a second. In the game, it was cold but did not seem so bad because of all the jumping around and screaming.

The place had a lot of empty seats by the end of Q2. People were cold and left to go home. I left in the beginning of Q4, I had 220 miles to drive to get home.

    1) when I walked into the Stadium about a half hour before Kickoff the place was as electric as I have ever seen. It was half full at that time but you could feel it. During the 1st half it was as loud as it has ever been in that Stadium.

2)It was really cold but I was very comfortable until the place starting emptying out. The coldest it was all night was the long walk back to the car.

3)It started emptying out around halftime unbelievably.

Oh and I'm not sure many people noticed but they brought back the 90s P.A. announcer for some plays during the game. I got flashbacks.

Strangely, it was much colder in the lot than in the stadium. Layers and ski mask type hats were the way to go though, so it wasn't bad. The crowd wasn't all that loud, but there really wasn't a reason to be because it wasnt much of a game. Definitely was a special feeling in the air though - felt like an "event".

The coldest fing game I have ever been at. I parked by the meadowlands sign and it said 18 degrees most of the night without the wind chill. No reason to get on anyone for leaving during half time or the 3 quarter it was tuff and we where kickin ass

Lots of smuggled booze and skirmishes too. Toward the end of the game, right outside sec. 326, some insane drunk had a long standoff with yellows and cops. Finally he was literally strapped into a chair and wheeled away, but the chair overturned and he was moaning like a psycho with his face in the ground. Last I saw, a stretcher was on the way. Anybody else see that?

And they are trying to bid on hosting a SUPERBOWL there? Gimme a facking break... I was dressed like I was going to antarctica, and I still couldn't feel my fingers by the end of the game. Imagine how long the people that actually get to go to the superbowl would last. It would be like a preseason crowd by halftime.

once the starters were pulled, the game was over - it was late and cold - no reason to stay.

first off gate A sucked!!!! It's a miracle if no one got hurt! I saw an ambulance and police cars to my left as I got there so maybe someone did get hurt,,, WE ALWAYS go in that way---this time they had ALL of the fence entrances closed!!! So if you lined up over there you then had to work your way back to your left--and when you finally got close (like 3 people away ) from the guy frisking you,,,,YOU NOW SAW that there was metal rail partician that you could not cross!!!! So now all these people in fron and behind me had to work YOUR WAY along that rail to your left about 30 feet only to now make your way back towards the guy who is gonna frisk you!!! Sucked getting in at GATE A!!! OHHHH n ps the freaking escalator was out of order--so the old people had to freeze n walk!!!!

Okay as far as the game it was the coldest since the Jaguar playoff game--but this was colder because the wind was unreal!! We finally got our tent down and put the walls up and lit 2 fires and got a few heaters going and then all was well!! The LOT is always colder because it's so wide open-and the wind settled down somer by gametime so inside was warmer but still COLDDDDDDDDD! The game was not louder then this years PATS GAME--not even close but it was loud. People left in the 3rd which sucked--but it is what it is.

there were a few "ocho sucks" chants. Did that come through? I didn't think they were THAT loud.

It was fine till you were hungover halfway through the third quarter. Then you just wanted to be warm. Still more tolerable than that Denver game last year.

Half time. People saw the score and knew we had it in the bag. Really thinned out after the start of the 4th quarter. That's when I left to catch my 11 oclock train.

Halftime was great though. No one's mentioned that. Seeing all the old players along with Marty Lyon's speech - fantastic. The best halftime reunion yet.

the celebration at the end with the green and white confetti and the team coming out fora curtain call in the last game at the stadium was a good reason. i will remember that for the rest of my life.

How many of you stayed for the Jets victory lap? Watching them Hi-5 all those fans was pretty damn cool, and made me wish I had bought tickets and braved the cold to be there.

in the first half i was going ballistic...on the first td my section went insane and i headbutted the guy behind me lol!!! it was mayhem

it was cold but i didn't start feeling it until the 3rd quarter although my feet were completely numb

it started to empty out half way through the third...to cut people some slack we were up 30 - 0 and it was absolutely freezing out there

it was totally worth the money and braving the cold....i'll never forget it
