Everyone starts with a clean slate next week. Jets cannot get overconfident and expect to roll over the Bengals again next week. After tonight's celebration, it's time to get back to work.
when you throw a game you play like the colts did last week thats throwing a game when you score 0 you got laid out
The only thing thrown in this game was the Bengal defensive line...about 5 yards back on every running play.
Bengals fans are crying and saying dumb things because their WR's couldn't catch any balls that were in their hands or at their numbers.
Last time the Bengals were impressive was back in November when they beat the Ravens and Steelers in back to back weeks. Bengals are 2-3 in December and almost lost to the Chiefs last week, they just aren't that good.
Absolutely agree. If half of Cincy's drops are caught, this isn't the domination game it turns out to be. I still think we win handily because we wanted it more, but the game is not completely one sided. I kept seeing this stat on the post-game but the knuckleheads never mentioned it: Bengals ZERO yards passing all game. Is that true???
I had to go check that stat on my last post, and yes the Bengals had 0 (ZERO) net yards passing tonight. Holy Shit! http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2010010308/2009/REG17/bengals@jets/analyze/box-score
Just back from the game and I'm frozen like an ice cube. At least we had 3 bonfires going near Gate C at our tailgate before the game to stay warm. The Jets made it worthwhile for their fans to endure the cold. I was wondering throughout the game if Cincy was dogging it or if the Jets really did have their number. If the Bengals didn't come to play, then why not pull Palmer and Ochocinco (or is it now "Johnson" again?) sooner rather than later? I guess we'll find out next Saturday.
Hmmm....take it easy, get Jets and Sanchez....play it hard to win, get Ravens and Ray Lewis. What do you think ???
To be fair 2-3 dropped balls happened on plays where the Bengals had penalties anyhow. The Bengals looked under prepared and had little or no intensity. The Jets came out for a playoff game. That will not happen Saturday and that alone will make the game closer. That being said, The Jets physically abused the Bengals today. It was just outright abuse.
bengals fans saying they threw the game is absolute BS...you can't throw a game and lose 37 - 0...that was just flat dominance straight up if they had to interest in winning there is ZERO reason to play your starters
