Got this for christmas and am loving it! Loads more moves and weapons. I also really like the story line and the fact that the crew back in the lab can talk to you whilst going about your business, which I thought was a flaw in last one. There were times when you wondered what you were meant to be doing. Anyone else have it ?
3 days playing this now, totally addicted. There are a few minor glitches in the game play, but niothing too serious. The storyline is loosely based on renaissance Italy with some actual 'real' names appearing , Leonardo da Vinci is one is is quite fun. The puzzles within the 'codex' pieces are pretty hard to work out if you've been on the beer, so make sure you don't attempt unless you have a clear head. Great story line, great action, and very easy to play. Not often a sequel game is BETTER than the original.
I'm telling you guys, Uncharted 2 is the best game for PS3. That series has to have the best writing in video game history. The first Assassin's Creed had the worst ending ever. Both are still very fun, but they need to end their games better and stop setting them up for another sequel.
I've seen alot of great reviews of uncharted II and will wait until the price drops off a bit , lol , don't think I could get that past my kids. 1st AssCreed was an awful finish and agree that they should be able to come up with something less un-original.
Uncharted 2 is excellent, and there have been a bunch of sales with it at $40 new and $30-35 used. (I'm not sure if you wanted to wait until it was $25). I just bought Assassins Creed 2 and I also got AC 1 for Christmas. After I finish Borderlands, I think I'm going to play both of the AC games. Should I bother playing the 1st one?
Theres no real relevance to play AC 1 first as it doesn't have any real baring on AC2, which is far superior. Theres only a few 'must have' games which force to part with cash on launch, then I wait around to try other games once they come down in price, which I really don't mind.
I just started playing it. I would say I'm about 1/3 complete with it and I do like it. I can't really follow the story that well since everybody's name sounds the same. Also, I don't really like how every time you are introduced to an enemy, you are instructed to kill him in the next mission. But the gameplay is fun, even though it seems to be very simple
got it for Christmas and played it over the holidays. I love it as well. was a big fan of the first game and this one delivers the same elements that I enjoyed while adding much more. still have plenty to do as I spend my time with all the exploring and treasure hunting of each area before going on to the missions.
Just finished the game a few hours ago. I enjoyed it, but there was a serious "What the fuck?" ending, literally.
Okay, I haven't played the first or the second. I've heard great things and seen some of the epic kills you can do on YouTube. My question is... should I get the first Creed or can I jump right into the second? What would you guys recommend?
there are some references to the first one in AC2, but you can play the second one without knowing the backstory. AC1 was a damn good game, so I recommend picking it up anyway. The kills are insane, and as the game progresses they get cooler. Two hidden daggers is better than one.
I have both, but decided to play ACII first. I think you'll be fine by just playing the 2nd one, but I saw the first one for $10 new so I couldn't pass it up. I'm sure you can find a similar price on it. You can also get ACII for $44 on Amazon.com
So I took a leap and bought it a few days ago. Don't really like it. It seems really slow paced, doing errands and other stupid things, and the combat is weak. I wish I could have my $50 back.
I thought the same at first. Keep playing it picks up after a while. I finished it the other day and came away thinking it was better then when I first starting playing it. They do set it up for one final game, and I think they'll stop there. That or they'll go through one more major time period, maybe the colonial era. That would be pretty cool. Anyways, the ending wasn't too bad and I liked what they did at the end with the combat before it ended. I was wondering if that would happen and it did. Good for them. I hope they make one more. EDIT: There will be a third/final one. I'd like it to be in the colonial era, but that won't happen.
