to be honest, I hate snipers too. But it is part of the game, and war tactics. I just hate people that post up in one spot the entire duration of a match. Camping for a little bit is ok, because its a legit tactic in moderation....but only camping is pretty weak.
i think camping to get experience of the game is ok. but if your ill with the weapon show your skills
all the "cheap" tactics have easy counters. there is not a single spot on any map that i can think of that is a god spot that nobody can get to if your there first. each map has multiple paths to get around/behind guys. if someone is sniping in one spot i either avoid that part of the map or go around and try to get behind him. if a guy is running around knifing you need to slow your own shit down and move a bit slower to have a chance to get shots off on him before he gets to knifing range. sprinting everywhere is a sure fire way to get yourself killed a bunch.
good call, we all have a sniper class in the default loadouts though. if someone is that annoying i usually just bust out that class take the person out and move on. if the guy is good just keep to to the areas of the map that he can't snipe. sniping is a totally legit tactic in my eyes, just because we find running and gunning fun doesn't mean everyone else finds that fun.
He's not talking about being hunted down and knifed. He's talking about the fags that use Lightweight, Marathon, and Commando, then switch to the Air Drop can so they can run around fast as shit and knife everyone.
Can you explain switching to the air drop cam? I play on 360, doubt it makes a difference. I wonder if I've been victimized by this..
Not Air drop cam, air drop CAN. The green grenade looking thing you have to equip to call in an airdrop crate or emergency airdrop. If you equip it, it makes you run like 3x faster than normal and with lightweight and marathon, you are so fast its hard for people to hit you.
Air drop canister, not camera. It's one of the early killstreak perks. If you get 4 kills, you get an airdrop. To activate the drop, you have to throw this little can that marks a certain spot on the map. Instead of tossing the can and getting their airdrop, a lot of douchebags just hold the can and run around because it makes them a lot faster.
got my nuke on terminal just now. seems the best way to get it is harrier chopper gunner then obviously nuke. the chopper gunner is easier to rack up kills than the ac 130 for me. i went from 11 to 24 with that and then just needed to get one more kill after it was done. i am very happy at the moment.

Man, I was good at this game when I first got it.. now I can't be bothered. I stopped playing it for a little while and everyone has upped their game big time. I can't stand the maps though, they all just seem way too fucking big. I miss Shipment, Crossfire, and Crash. I hope they release COD4 maps as a map pack. That'd be awesome. I'd play that shit all day if they did it where you could do a map pack specific playlist.
I just do it on that level. And if you are dumb enough to walk into my view more than once, well you deserve to get killed over and over.
