Is that a bottle of Chivas Regal in front of the lamp, or part of the lamp? She also appears to be a big supporter of the LGBT community.
I'll have a few beers before or during the game, depending upon who I'm with (some games its just my teenage kids with me so no incentive to drink). I think that most sloppy drunks are just people who can't handle their booze. Most of them go to the game without intending on becoming a walking zombie or beer spilling clown but they just can't handle it. This may sound wimpy but one of the factors that limits me to no more than a couple of beers is that I HATE the prospect of missing portions of the game going to the bathroom. Maybe the new stadium will have a better ratio or urinals to male attendees but to me the game is PRIMARY and everything else is secondary. Plus, I have a 2 hour drive back to Hartford and need to keep that in mind as well. A few ?'s. What happens to drunks that get tossed out of the game? Do they simply toss them out of the stadium to roam the parking lot? Put them in a holding tank? Are there any repercussions to the season ticket holder of the specific seat that the drunk is in possession of?
as pissed as i am about not being able to have a few inside, i totally understand why they are doing this. its gonna be a mess in there anyway with people having so much time to tailgate and people trying to steal seats and all since this the end of the second ugliest building in the tri state area (the verizon building in nyc is by far the ugliest)
They more than likely have a holding tank in the stadium. I know they do at Nassau. The season tix holder can lose his seats if they decide to take them.
Not to mention it's on National TV, the Jets Organization doesn't want the embarrassment of burning towels being thrown down onto the field in the 3rd quarter.
i forsee a record sale of flasks this weekend in north jersey. i dont like getting too blacked out for games because i cant read coverages.
Looks like I'll be breaking out my flask I got as a Christmas gift. To the poster about getting too drunk at games I can totally relate to that. Don't get me wrong, I like to drink while watching football but not to the point of belligerence or incohesiveness that you see with some people. This is the exact reason I stopped going to college football games at UM. I literally couldn't take my fellow fair-weather student peers getting absolutely time-traveling drunk and then shouting the most obnoxious shit you can think of. The NYJ want to stop those kinds of fans and I applaud it... just wish you could sort out the responsible drinkers from the rest.
