In a sense, I can see that. If I were a Giants fan, I'd be ripping mad that my team looked every bit the championship contender earlier this season and then quit. And as long as we're playing make-believe, if I were a sandwich, I'd be pastrami.
Francesa seems to think we only need a safety and big time pass rusher from the edge. He basically said that we're set opposite Revis with Litto Shephard. Hasn't shephard been terrible this year and isn't he likely going to be let go in the offseason?
No Lito has not been terrible this year, when he has played he has played very well. It remains to be seen if he is back next year, I believe he will be.

They had a bunch of starters on D sitting too, and he didn't say it was ONLY because their defense was deflated, he said the running game started going when they took half of their starters on both sides of the ball out of the game, which is true. You're just finding reasons to hate the guy.

Listening to ESPN Radio and someone just called in asking why Lito Shepphard is performing poorly. The response basically said he's just not that good - whether he's dinged up or not - which is something Philly eventually realized. Do you think we'll target a solid #2 CB in the Draft or look to FA to try to bring in another 'proven' veteran to start opposite of Revis?
LITO IS AND SHOULD BE A GONER. I think with an uncapped year a new stadium and a team that's really built to "win now", Woody goes off and brings some big names to this team. One of which will be a corner opposite Revis.

No, Lowery started that game and was responsible for Welker the majority of the time. Sheppard has been great when he has played, that is the problem with Lito though is you can't count on him to play considering his injury history. When he is healthy though he is the least of our concerns. I hope the Jets can find a way to not give him his bonus due and still keep him.
Welker is a slot receiver he was not manned up. They used a lot of zone to cover him, not bright though. Maybe with this 3 safety design Eric Smith can at least slow him down. Lito has been great, nobody is perfect even the almighty Revis Christ.
