Never on NBC, the last time we were on Sunday night was when Sunday Night got the crappy games and Monday Night football used to get the good games(the games that were supposed to be good).
That it does. I'm already experiencing shallow breathing and anxiety thinking about it. Still, after blowing the Buffalo and Atlanta games, and geting swept by the pathetic Fish, it's hard to believe the Jets control their playoff destiny.
Fantastic. Instead of watching a grainy Justin.tv picture like every other week I now get to watch it in glorious HD!
Dallas hit the limit for national games they cant play sunday night. The weather for sunday is high 33 low 25. The means its going to be 7 degrees colder at night. If the nfl is worried about the cold they shouldn't have games in January. Bring blankets be prepared
Anyone know if they change beer sales for the sunday night games? I know the policy for nights is different then day games
It doesn't matter what the forecast is, if you have ever been to one of these Dec night games you'd know what I'm talking about. it's a disgrace and another example of the NFL not caring about it's fans. Bring blankets? i'm at a football game not on my couch.
We bring a bunch of blankets and its nice also important to bring something put on your seat to keep your butt warm. I know its colder but its going to be cold this time of the year no matter what time of the day it is
most important question on the board right now hands down. i did a little googling and from what i see its really on a game by game basis. recent history shows that any game that has been a large scale night game, has not allowed beer sales at all. games like NE for instance. they also usually lower it to 1 beer at a time if they do serve beer at night games. since its the last game ever in giants stadium and we are going for a playoff spot, i doubt they serve beer. i also will be praying all week that im wrong.
Bringing something to put on the seat is a great idea. That makes a huge difference. There's just no need to play night games in Dec and january, the cold is part of it. We'll get home after midnight and have to work the next day. it sucks. Football is meant to be played on Sunday afternnons.
Considering that it will likely give the Bengals more incentive to rest their starters, everyone should like this.
If there is a possibility we play them back to back I would think they would rest there starters and hide there game plan. Also in the past 2 weeks they have dealt with a teamates death , traveled to san diego'lost an emotional last second game travelled to new Orleans for the funeral and then back to Cincy for a victory to clinch a division title. I see the same game plan the colts had yesterday.
Bring cardboard to stand on and news paper to sit on.. Also if is really cold put a few pages of news paper under you jacket..
I think the last SNF game we had was that Saints game at home on ESPN when Nugent messed up the GW kick in 2005.
Oh bugger...game won't start until 1am, not finish until 4-30 or later/earlier, like the San Diego playoff game that finished about 5-30am! Can't take Monday off work (need to be in a 8am), I will not be that useful on Monday.
Damn that sucks- If this a a UK "football" team heading into the playoffs with a win would there be days off given?
Funny part about that game--both teams were in the running for the top of the draft and after we lost the Jet fans remaining were chanting for Reggie Bush. Saints ended up winning the game and getting Reggie--just goes to show you where hoping to lose for draft position gets you. This will be a better game.
