Played a great game today and he deserves some props.

Now that said does anybody know why Jones appeared to be pulled for the middle of the game today? He started off the game getting all the carries, then dissapeared while Greene got the carries in the middle of the game, then Greene got injured, and Jones returned to finish off the Colts.

It worked very well today, I am just curious why things fell that way?

Again Great work by the Greene machine today. Jones really finished things off strong as well.

I'm guessing it was more of a game planning decision than anything. They want to get Greene more carries/experince and Jones a bit of rest.

I don;t think anyone ever doubted Greene's skills with the ball in his hands but his ability to keep the ball in his hands. I'm gald he had a clean slate today.

Jones was pulled because Greene was producing. They flipped roles once Greene got going.

Greene had a great game today because he got carries. TJ had a great game because he got carries. We'd be 10-5 right now and probably winning the AFC East if the Jets had just done this all year long.

The worst thing I heard all day was that Rex Ryan wants Schottenheimer back next season.

Love the way Greene runs - definition of running downhill. I'm not as worried about his hands as I am his durability. He seems to be banged up alot.

I don't care what Rex says - no way he keeps BS next year. Horrible play calling in the first half today.

I say we keep BS right now he is kind of held back in the calling because Sanchez is still developing so when he can get quicker reads and release and makes good decision i think the play book will open up for us

I don't think that Greene took over from Jones intentionally...I just think that he was running the ball real well and the coaching staff figured why not give TJ a breather. He's been getting a lot of carries this season, may as well keep him fresh if Greene is dominating.

Is that for real? When did that happen? If that is the case I would count today as a loss. Hopefully Schotty finds a better job.

Gumble or Deirdorf mentioned that when they sat down with Rex that he would welcome back Brian Scottenheimer if he wanted to comeback

Then again Brian wanted to bolt for the Detroit OC so maybe just maybe there is a chance he could leave. Maybe for the CLE OC if Holmgren doesnt get Zorn.

Yeah I agree I would of dreamed 2 1000 yard rushers on this team, it could of happened if he ran the ball more

I can actually see why Ryan said that though. They are in the middle of a playoff hunt. There is no reason to create any extra tension by saying anything that is not a vote of confidence in his OC.

hopefully we win the superbowl and we can get that monkey off our back, and teams will want schotty as the head coach, hitting 2 birds with 1 stone.
