Just to back up this post, here' a snippet from an article last year http://myespn.go.com/blogs/hashmarks/0-6-99/Cowboys-draw-favorable-schedule.html
I hope so too and I think there's a good chance that we get prime time for several reasons. 1. Final game ever in the stadium 2 weeks ago there were already rumors it would be moved to SNF because of that. 2. New York market 3. Several markets have an interest in that game because if the Jets lose some other teams could get into the playoff (Jaguars, Steeler, Ravens, etc.) and Dallas/Philly doesn't have as many markets that would watch and both teams probably will have playoff spots locked up it's just a matter of who wins the division.
im going so i would hope its a 1pm game, dont want to freeze my nuts off for a 7pm game. 1pm would be better for sanchise too!
We're going to pound the ball all game, minimal throwing. Regardless of the Bengals sitting starters, they will sit guys who are banged up, and their big DT Peko is one. I doubt he will play regardless.
For selfish reasons I hope it goes to Sunday Night. I have to travel Sunday and I'd love to hit the road earlier. If the game is at 1:00, I have to stay here and watch it and hit the road after the game which would lead to a late arrival. If its a SNF game, I can take my time travelling and watch the game in leisure once I arrive.
They can't, Dallas has already played in 6 primetime games which is the maximum. They screwed themselves when they took this shit game. Nobody wants to see the fucking Deadskins. I don't know what NBC was thinking. The only other possibilty I could think of would be Pitt/Miami or Arizona/Green Bay.
Arizona/Green Bay is ineligible. I was reading before that due to the Fiesta Bowl there aren't supposed to be any games at the Stadium for 48 hours before. They fucked up and scheduled the game but they said as long as it's not SNF it should be good. So that game is definitely out. Every thing I'm reading on Twitter, while not the most reliable source, seems to imply we will be playing Sunday night.
This might be a dumb question but is the thanksgiving game technically "prime time" even though it was played at 4:15? If that isnt considered prime time then we will probably be playing regular time.
I also have a hard time thinking Miami/Pitt considering both teams could be dead by the time 4 PM rolls around.
I'm hoping we find out tonight... maybe at the end of the game on now. They may say like... "See you next week in New York" or some shit.
Sweet, I'm really hoping for this game to be flexed for two reasons: 1. More time to drink before the game 2. We will be playing after the patriots(who will probably beat the texans) which means cincy will have nothing to play for and rest their starters even though I wish I didnt have to rely on that
