That sequence was as it should have been but horrible play calls have fizzled out every drive thus far.
All the gloom and doom is pretty funny - did people think there was any way the Jets would be in the game without being lucky? The Colts are a vastly better team, folks - being down by 6 points is way better than anyone had any right to expect. The big problem is that there's no reason for Manning to be pulled, since the Jets aren't getting within spitting distance of him.
Man, we are 6 points back, Defense is doing OK, If our running game breaks out, we could win this, and our running game is moving, Indy's defense doesn't look like they can really stop our run, Sanchez needs more play action and pump fakes.
We always come out with a nice drive in the 2nd half. We need to score anything and not let Manning get back on the field. IMO- He's getting benched or getting 1 drive.
If anyone has Shotty's cell, please call him and let him know we most likely don't win at this point with 3 points.
there is no way they sit there ones. they are only up by 6 and he barley knocked around manning so why wouldnt he be sent out?!
NY Jets Twitter: RL: This game is only the fourth out of 15 all season that the Colts have been held to fewer than 10 points in the first half.
Manning will play this entire game if he has too....sucks for us, but no way he sits when this is a +/- 7 pt game
You missed the point.. He was talking about getting the last 3 carries of the half. I was saying TJ is the better option there because of ball security. Who the fuk said anything about Sanchez?
There is always that chance that something could happen to him, I pray it doesn't though. That would be awful.
I just got in, missed most of the first half, the score apparently doesn't tell the tale. Doesn't look too bad based on the score and the fact that Manning's playing. But it seems like everyone in here thinks we are dead men walking. Is it that our offense is masturbating again?
The field goal drive was a nicely put together set of plays. Mark Sanchez has been very efficient so far. The other drives were killed by god awful play calls made by Schottenheimer: The reverse to David Clowney was horrible. The Clown made it much worse by running backwards. Starting the first drive with 3 straight passes was also stupid as shit. The Wildcat with Brad Smith isn't working at all and it's basically a loss of down each time we use it.
