Why on earth are they playing the pro bowl before the super bowl? I think this is the most retarded thing ever. So this means the guys who are in the super bowl are definitely not playing in the pro bowl. Though the pro bowl has died out and lost its luster over the years, its still a time that guys maybe would be making there first pro bowl from the super bowl teams can't play in it. I also think its a time from them to have fun with all the other players in the league bring there families to it and just basically a vacation from them after the season is over. I think this year its in Florida but doesn't matter might not be a big as Hawaii but people still will go to Disneyland etc.

I might actually watch it now that it's before the superbowl. I think it's a great idea and I'm glad there's football during the week off. I couldn't care less about guys from the superbowl teams not playing.

Never watched it before, won't watch it now, so it makes no difference to me. Having said that, I expect that many players chosen will mysteriously be injured and unable to play (of course that was true before, but I expect it to be even more true this year) - going (and taking your family) to Hawaii is one thing, Florida is something very different. Many players are from or live in Florida, and most play games there every year or two, so why exactly would you want to play (and possibly get hurt) in this meaningless game in a routine location?

If their agents are smart, bonuses are paid if a player is chosen for the Pro Bowl, not if they play in it, so I can see very little reason why a player would want to actually go and play.

Right, like we'd give two shits about seeing Jets players in the pro-bowl if they were playing in the superbowl.

I agree with ya here. I can't remeber the last time i watched a probowl. I think if you asked each and every player in the super bowl which game they would rather be in the answer would not only be unamious, but you make get laughed out of the building.

Its about time they did something to try and change that joke of a game.

No kidding. At this point it would be more entertaing if they sent them to Hawaii and had them compete in a bowling tourney. Now that i would tune in for. The basicly Non-contact "football" game they play is a joke.

By being a good run blocker for a decade or more. Everyone knows its more about the name than the play any year. Faneca is still a very good run blocker and has always been a below average Pass blocker. This is nothing new.
