CBG, I almost expect you to break out in song, maybe Westside Storie's " when your a jet your a jet all the way". Bottom line without a winning formula fans can be fans at home. The Jets have askeds its fans to become "investors" in the new stadium. I for instance like seeing a broadway play now and then, but I don't want to invest in a broadway play. Jets keep bringing on rep after rep to push PSLs which is scary. Also I called up under fake names to see if better UD seats were available and they are but when I call under my own name none are available. Jets know they can't sell bad seats to new people. Better to keep people who bought locked in on bad seats. Look over on Jetnation and in the tickets for sale section there are lots of "buyers remorse" PSL's for sale. That is just the begining. The Jets lose the next two games and they will end up un-selling the UD EZ tickets in the last five rows. Those tickets are fully refundable. How empty was the stadium anyhow on Sunday?
These are in the so-called $700 a seat section next year. If they sold for $100 each next year for last game of season that would be a $600 loss per ticket. Nice. Oh yea free parking too! The 96 team could have been 10-6, losing 9 games by 7 points or less. Point being 80% of the games in the NFL are decided by 7 points or less.
Thank you for your motivational post, it is greatly appreciated. I see the Jet glass 75% full. That's the difference between a 9-7 team and a 12-4 team, just a few more plays that go our way. Over the next few years more and more of those plays will go our way.
What places? Home game against sucky team that plays down south in a dome and you only need 8 points to win and you can't do it. Jets are starting to annoy me this week. First I get Rob Sullivan sending me a post card to "come in from the cold" I can upgrade my location from $95 dollar seats to $195 dollar seats, thanks Rob, then I get a pro-bowl ticket offer, if the Jets won last sunday I would have also got a play-off invoice.
