Simple question and I'm not a Sanchez hater, I think he will develop into a great QB. Never-the-less I pose the question. Would Clemens have won the game yesterday?

No. Sanchez didn't cost us this game. Special Teams and the D on that final drive did. Besides, I don't think Clemens would have performed any better than Sanchez.

If Clemens looked like shit against a 1 win team, Imagine what a 6 win team could do to him?

    They would have raped him.

And the fact that the thread has no option for special teams annoys me. They lost the fucking game.

I agree I should have added the special teams factor, but the offense needs to convert touchdowns in the red zone, and 49.7 passer rating is not acceptable when the team needs you to step up during a playoff push.

    This thread should be titled:

"Kellen Clemens fumbled snap lost this game..."

the 3rd INT doesn't happen if the FGs are put through because he's not trying to win the game with a minute left. That gets the rating up. He's kneeling the ball if the fucking specials teams does there fucking job.

I can't believe the incompetence by Clemens and dearth on sunday.

On January 4th, Kellen Clemens no longer has a job with the New York Jets.... beers on me.

No in fact he was one of the biggest reasons they lost along with Dearth and Feely.

Clemens hasn't done "fine" over anyone ever.

One quarter of good football where WRs drop your passes doesn't get you anywhere. Give up the dream.

you don't understand that if the ST does their job the game is 16-10 and sanchez is kneeling 3 times? And that 3rd INT never happens.

what if what if .... damn dude...what if we never drafted sanchez... how about that... what if he doesn't throws any picks.... what if he listens to his damn coach and plays smart football... if we make those three fg's ... the outcome of the game could still be different...because it would've been a different scenario ....st's and sanchez were both equally terrible --- and lost the game for us

that one quarter is what i would've liked to see from mark on that final drive... instead he misses cotchery streaking up the sideline and throws the ball into dc again

what if the defense stopped Ryan on 4th and 6. What if Revis made that INT the down before.

the fact is the FG unit has one job to do, and they didn't get it done when they were asked. Sanchez got the team the lead, the defense held the Falcons to 10 fucking pts. Its not rocket science.

you just want another tom brady situation to happen with immediate results. And you don't like our beaner QB either.

Sanchez has had almost as many good games as Clemens has starts. But you wouldn't know that.

You're not going to get it so i'm not going to keep repeating the same shit. Keep rooting for Ainge.

but fo reals i would never wish an injury on someone... all i want is for this team to win and at least have a chance .... i don't wanna waste 2 or three yrs on someone who is so raw and clearly not ready to be an nfl qb
