call me a bad fan. But i wasnt able to get out there today. There was 18 inches of snow outside impossible to make it there by 1 for the game. I got up at 7 am started shoveling. If the JETS and the NFL cared about the fans they would have started the game at 4:15 just like Baltimore and philly. If the game was at 4:15 I wouldve went, and I think more people wouldve came also. I ate my tickets today. But who are you to critize the fans that didnt go? Im sorry I didnt feel like rushing out there to make it to the game on time. Im happy I didnt go, because I didnt have to deal with the traffic coming home after a loss like this.
Anyone could've gone for FREE today, so what you just said is complete bullshit. Everyone on this board knows on a day like this tickets are given away in the parking lot for next to nothing...or nothing! No takers at face value ($80 each) means all of you complaining about the crowd need to just shut up. Here's your opportunity to go show us horrible fans how to be "real fans", from great seats! once again, i criticize because many of you are crying like bitches about how the team shit the bed when you didnt bother to go and support them. thats like the pot calling the kettle black. I was determined to make it today. My plan was to take the lirr since there was no way to get my car out of an unplowed neighborhood without crashing six times. I live walking distance from the train station and was bummed out when i heard there was service delays/no trains running in time for me to make it for kickoff thus stopping me and four other people from going there. It was just a bad situation from the start. I was hoping for a 415 start but now i realize more then ever that not only does god hate jet fans the NFL and woody does as well.
yeah well when we win everyone is talking about how were gonna run the table and make it into the playoffs. then we lose a game that we dominated for 99% and ultimatley lost because of special teams errors and everyone feels a need to make "SOJ", "bench sanchez", and "this team is horrible" threads. well this thread is to say FUCK YOU to all those fans. p.s. many other teams fans dont give a shit about how bad their team is. kc and cleveland have sucked for years but they still pack their stadiums. that is the mark of a true fan, supporting your team no matter whether they win or lose.

I had tickets but didnt go cause it was too cold. I have no excuse, other than I wanted to watch on my 50 inch and 73 degree temps instead of being out in 18 degree with swirling winds. Looks like I made the right choice too. J E T S BLOW SUCK ASS

I'm still trying to figure out shy the Jets lost because of their fan base. Did the fact that the stadium was less than full after 2 feet of snow cause the team to leace points on the board? If the stadium had bee fill would they have been successful of the FG tries? What exactly have the Jets done in the laat 40 years to start complaining about the fanbase?
As a marketing professor I'm very proud of what the NFL guys have done. If I buy a shitty car and it lets me down time and time again, my freinds would never encourage me to buy another one. But in the NFL, a team like the Jets can produce a horrific product year after year, and I'm the asshole if I don't buy? LOL now THAT's marketing. Or maybe a sucker really IS born every minute.

It was an embarrassment, we get better crowds for preseason games. The weather was fine, the roads were fine. Pathetivc job by the fans but those of us that showed up deserved a W and we didn't get it.
There was no excuse for most fans for not making the game. I came from Merrick, LI, I shoveled from 6:00 to 9:00 to get my car out. The main roads were fine. If a Jet fan wanted to make it, he could have . But WHY ???? This team continues to disappoint , so why make the effort ?
