It's got to be on Sanchez

OK fine, it's on Sanchez, Feely, and Clemens.

On the interceptions, he had time and made bad decisions. He threw completions that were stupid decisions too.

I like the guy. After the first few games I agreed that starting him was the right decision and have defended him since. At some point, however, you just have to call it like it is. The comfortable veteran QBs in the league make fewer of these bad choices, especially when they have an O-line like we have.

BTW, very good QB's throw Int's at the end of the game when they are forced into passing situations. It happens all the time. You protect your rookie QB whenever you can because he's going to throw even more picks than usual at the end of the game.

Sanchez should have 13-14 picks this year. He has 20 because Schotty was not doing his job right all year long.

Seriously, what is this color code system? That's total bullshit. The OC should be responsible for the calls and for putting his QB in safe or risky positions. If the HC has to be chirping RED, RED, RED from the sidelines it just tells you that the OC has failed at his job.

The Falcons put 8 or 9 guys in the box and we averaged 3.0 yards rushing per carry. That's horrible. If we're averaging that many yards per carry, you can't rely on the running game, and you need to open up the passing game. Sanchez made some great throws, but his interceptions were horrendous. It's an inconsistent offense if the passing game can't get going, and that's why we could only attempt field goals today instead of getting touchdowns. The special teams let us down by not making those few opportunities we had to score.

It was certainly a team loss, Sanchez made some terrible throws, three FGs fucked up....penalties....just a team fuckup. The D did all it could, just can't hold all damn game.

Thank you. Why is it that such an obvious point has to be repeated over and over? Sanchez wasn't any good today, but neither was the running game, the special teams were of course horrific, and as you said, when the defense needed a big stop they couldn't get it, leaving the HoF tight end uncovered on fourth down from the 5 yard line.

And the same is true, of course, for the entire season. Every aspect of the Jets has failed big-time at one point or another and cost games. The defense gets the least blame overall because on balance they've performed well, but this is the third game that they gave up a big TD drive at the end of the game to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

its very sad to say... but as bad as Kellen played last week... it was mistake free football. If he got the nod today i think we win the game. I still have faith in Sanchez and lets leave the mistakes in 2009 will ya?

The offense did enough to win this game. 3 chip shot Fgs and a 15 yard personal foul. Placing the blame anywhere other than the STs is ridiculous.

Guys, this is what you get with a rookie QB, more often than not. I don't like it either, but there it is anyway. You start a rookie, and you will get INT's.

We lost this game directly because we missed three fg's. we lost it indirectly because because Sanchez is terrible and had been nearly all season.

Sanchez did play horrible but 3 missed field goals that were inside 40 yards is unacceptable... If you dont blame the field goal team you're crazy... We had this game but we were destined to lose... God did not want us to win this game simple as that...

I understand that and have to accept it like the rest of you. Today just really pissed me off because there was such a disparity between the defensive and offensive performances.

I think this was the most angering loss of the season for me.

What the special teams did was apparent but you have to look beyond what Sanchez actually did today and think about what our offense can't do because of his performance right now. There are options that are open to other teams but not to us because he is so limited. So it is a lot more than the 3 picks, it's everything that we are held to because of his incompetence. I know we have to accept it. I expected 8-8 or 9-7 in the preseason and we may well end up 7-9.

He damn well better improve next season. I believe 15 starts in the NFL this year will equal his total number of college starts. He'd better work his nuts off to get up to speed in the offseason because if he plays like this in 2010 I can see him being sat down by mid-season and having a very questionable future.

And we need a new LG.

I've had enough about he's just a rookie. This is the NFL not USC! You gotta make better decisions than these. You gotta learn how not to telegraph INTs! You gotta learn how to slide! Otherwise your NFL career will be short!

Also Jay feely, you're a veteran kicker, you can not miss 3 FGs and expect your team to win. DISGRACEFUL!

Keep in mind that he missed 1. One was blocked and he didn't even get to kick the other one.

The one he missed is still inexcusable.

The game is on the special teams, but the offense is clearly underachieving.

We have all the pieces but we just cant put it all together... We have one of the best teams in the league player wise but we just cannot win games together as a team! Its so lame...

They are not underachieving, they are not a good offense but anyone that expected a good offense was kidding themselves.

Sanchez and the O look a lot different if the game is 16-3 late in the 4th QTr. 3 chip shot FGAs and they botched each of them.

We wouldn't of had scored, Clemens can barely make a damn pass.
