He just bashed Revis saying he had no hands. He said Woodson was alot better than Revis. And the proof is that the Jets are 7-6 and GB is 9-4. He basically said Revis has 26 passes defended because he does not have the hands to make an INT. And since Woodson blitzes, he is better because, in his words" Revis is not skilled enough to blitz"

Yeah, I saw this too. Totally ridiculous. And the question was "Who is the better SHUTDOWN cornerback?". The argumet that Revis is not a shutdown cornerback cause the Jets are only 7-6, like GM said. Like that has anything to do with it... Both are great football players, but noone is a better cover cornerback than Revis Christ, despite Woodson great statline :rofl:
Yeah, I didn't even get angry. Its Michael Irvin man. Using records to prove a point is hilarious, especially when you consider the schedules each team has played and WR's Revis has been up against. Not to mention the records are similar and one team has a great QB and the other has Sanchez.
I was enjoying listening to Michael Irvin on Sirius NFL Radio yesterday try to pronounce the word "synergy". He also even tried to throw in "dysynergy", then got them mixed up and started stuttering. He was a good receiver..........receiver only.
What the fuck does he know about Revis? Is he talking to position coaches for the Jets or watching every play? No, he probably just knows Woodson personally, and since Woodson has been around a while and has a reputation, he assumes he's better. It was stupid because Irvin basically argued who was the better DPOY candidate and Faulk was arguing who was the better shutdown corner. Irvin is a dope. And I love how whoever yells the loudest seems to win. Revis is the better corner. This is the most difficult season that a corner may ever had on terms of matchups, and Revis has shut everyone down.
