I left out the important bit about not actually having tickets for tomorrow's game. The reason I said I was on the fence was contemplating a hellish commute and then having to scalp for tickets with my 13 year old sister. I don't want to throw that kind of bullshit on her but I promised her I'd bring her to a game this season so it's either tomorrow or the Bungals.
I drove 200 miles like I do for every home game and I can't believe folks are punking out. We need loud screaming fans. We are in the hunt, everyone other than geshjet should be at this game. Go Jets!!!!!!!!
http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?Number%...&_fln=1&_npmv=3&_ssov=1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m282 get your ass in that stadium and get loud!
DAMN RIGHT!! See you all there tomorrow!! and lets be loud. No dome team is coming into our conditions to boot us out yet.
You guys expecting normal tailgating and sections and stuff are not being realistic at all. This is gonna be a mess.
I think I'd save money scalping them near the stadium. Tix may be sold out but I'm expecting only 35-40% of the stadium being filled.
Friends of ours just called and offered their two tickets, so me and my 6 year old son are going, woo hoo! I'm thinking train.
Those coming from LI like myself might wake up to find no way to the game. this from Newsday. "As a ferocious snowstorm moved over Long Island, residents who needed to travel faced a dilemma Saturday night - driving was discouraged as the roads turned icy, flights in and out were canceled and LIRR officials warned that service may be impacted if the storm becomes a blizzard. "If we get drifts or accumulations of 12 inches or more, we may have a suspension of service," Long Island Rail Road spokesman Joe Calderone said. "It's not something we want to do, but it would be for the safety of the people and the equipment." As of Saturday evening, the LIRR was not reporting delays, but travelers were urged to check on service before heading for train stations. The latest update from the National Weather Service forecast up to 24 inches in places on the Island.
There is no way you will need to scalp tickets tomorrow. I bet you can get free tickets. I wouldnt pay more then $20 a tickets tomorrow
I am going +4. Leaving my house (staten island) at 8:45. Usually takes me 25 minutes, should take 45-60 tomorrow. Cant wait. Going to be a good tailgate. Go Jets
I'll leave at my normal 8:30, about a half hour away.. Have no idea what to expect, its been awhile since we've had to sit out in the snow, but no doubt I'll be there. GO JETS!!!
My tailgate is out of commission because of the snow. I don't know when I'm going to get there although as of now I ABSOLUTELY plan on going but I'll keep that in mind. Of course 14c will get thrown some cash. It's not like the snow will affect me once I'm there, I'll be toasty in the box.
I'm totally dependent on the LIRR. If it's running tomorrow morning - I'm there in full force. If it's not running - there's nothing I can do.
HA, he called me shortly after when he got off the train on his way home to tell me it was snowing like hell  either way, it'll be cool by gametime. I hope everyone doesn't fold and takes a lesson from Jetsbabe on how to show up to the stadium like all the other fans in snowier locales do. :jets:  btw, enjoy the snow, it may get down to 40 here....tonight......
