A few numbers to chew on:

Nnamdi Asomugha has 3 INT, 0 TD and 20 PDs thru his last 3 seasons.
Darrelle Revis has 4 INT, 1 TD and 15 PDs thru his last 4 games.

    that is entirely insane.

However, Nnamdi (prior to this year anyways) developed a reputation for simply not even having passes thrown in his direction, I believe last season (according to some CB report thing) he only had 35 passes thrown his way all of last season

He's got my vote, but that's not terribly surprising.

I sense a blitz coming from Revis at a critical moment over the next three games. He will probably get a strip sack, recover the fumble and return it for a touchdown.

i expect him to also take over jay feelys job of kicking field goals and clemens job of holding the ball for field goals.

Yeah It'll be pretty unexpected when he does blitz, you know he will at least once...maybe in the snow.

I remember from his first 2 years that he is an excellent blitzer.

I love Revis, he has been everything we have asked for and more this year.
I really would like to go out and get his jersey but does anybody know how long he's locked up for?

I think it's between Woodson and Revis. Because Woodson is allowed to blitz and do some other things, his stats may look better than Revis'.

Revis allows other players to do the blitzing and route jumping. It allows the Jets D to play 10 on 10. Ryan can be a lot more agressive because Revis can shut down what is usually the opposing team's biggest playmaker.

I think it's a close call. Both are very good in their own ways. If Revis can finish up by shutting down White, Wayne and Ocho... I think he wins it.

That is because revis covers the best WR on the field. NA covers 1 side of the field.

QBs try and challenge Revis week in and week out...and they get burned.

true, but my point is that Nnamdi just was never thrown at before. Is that because the #1 is always on the other side? probably, but the stat is still valid.

That said because revis never leaves the #1 receiver the other teams have no choice to test him, as a result he has made the other teams pay, big time.
