With the playoffs in reach there ain't no way Rex is putting Clemens in if Sanchez is healthy to play no matter what the weather conditions are.
The snow starts here at the shore Sat. Eve. around 7pm (Accuweather is calling for around 5 inch`s of snow Sunday looks fine ) the thing is do we want Sanchize running around on a icy Field and possibly mess up his legs worse?
It does not look good for snow on Sunday. I love snow games, see Steeler game, but we might be better without it. We are the better team, why add a variable that could change the game plan.
So far this is pretty much it. The Baltimore area will get a snow storm. I wouldn't say blizzard conditions, but chances are pretty good for a pretty good snowfall. As far as we are concerned, it is still a shade early on the call only because the models are having a hard time timing the upper air support. I would say tomorrow is the day when things will start to lock in, as far as timing and if we will get anything or not. We will see; the last several storms have tracked further west than the 3-day prediction so maybe that is a trend. If that holds true we might have a decent snow out of this. I wouldn't say big, but decent. Southern NJ and Eastern LI stand to see a much better storm, especially, Eastern LI.
a few inches of snow is hardly something to get worked up about. Not a big deal in terms of game planning or deciding whether Sanchez plays.
Hopefully when Shonn is running all over it is with the ball & he did not cough it up to the other team
Well, snow would seem to make it a rushing-type game, which is obviously our strong suit. Hopefully our run defense will hold up better than Atlanta's. I know we already run a lot, but if it snows a lot, this would seem to be a game where we might have more rushing attempts than any game this season, no matter which QB is at the helm. Fine by me. Much more likely to get intercepted than fumble.
Rex had been giving him cough medicine all week, so that issue should be gone. If not they should bring Tiki's arrogant ass in.
From the forecast I heard this am, it will not be snowing at game time and thereafter even if it does snow earlier. Kind of like last Sunday for the Giants, it may have been crap all day, but by game time it stopped raining.
The field won't be icy. Sanchez has to play. If he gets hurt, he has all offseason to deal with the "tweaks" and "sprains".
They should wear all white in case in snows, that would be a nice camoflouge advantage. They could get a couple of picks that way.
What about snow showers? Weather.com is saying there's a 30% chance that it snow-showers. News 12 LI showed that it was going to be partly cloudy and 32-34 degrees. I don't know where this 'ZOMG snowstorm/blizzard/typhoon/2012' forecast is coming from.
