Sadly, this thread has nothing else to offer. The Jets did go from 4-6 to 7-6 though and now host a banged up Falcons team followed up by a playing a team who could be resting players. Its not over yet......

yea i definetly agreed on 7-6. panthers were beatable especially at home, i didnt see us losing to the bills again, and tampa sucks nuts (howd they beat GB). The game i thought at the time we would lose was the falcons but with Ryan out who knows. Our playoff chance is getting a little bit brighter each week now.

im guessing ryan will be back for next week, but i think it's their o line that is banged up, and their defense is real bad, i think bottom 5. this atlanta game is big, lets hope sanchez will be healthy and ready. snow next sunday could help.

    Good call and props.

7-6 it is, and what, 9th seed at this point in the race for 6 playoff spots?

Point is, 7-6 is still crap with the remaining schedules and tie-breakers out there-- we still need to run the table and hope for some help in the process. Those gut-wrenching losses to MIA, BUF, and JAX are more, not less painful becuase of the last 3 games.

I think we are definitely getting a lot of help already, we are just one game out of the division, tied with the 6th place seed at 7-6 (after tiebreakers at 9th), but just one game behind the broncos for the 5th.

I don't know but for now everything is keeping me happy, after 4-6 I thought that we were one year shorter of seeing our team win out, but now playoffs might happen. Steelers losing 5 in a row after being 6-2 and losing to the raiders and browns, ain't gonna happen again in a long time, broncos were undefeated earlier this season and now they are 8-5, jags have an awful schedule, what we need is that the fins lose against the titans and that is very possible, we can beat the falling falcons since they are 1-4 in the last 5, things may work. Next week can be a very good week for us, the jags are going to have their hands full against indy so after another week we might have a great scenario, Pats can lose to the bills, they almost did in week 1 when they beat the bills by 1.

After that we have the colts and if we beat them means that we are a playoff team and that we deserve to be there.
Then the bengals but they have just beaten us once in 18 years. So we might have a chance.

I don't know what you guys think but I'm starting to enjoy the thrill, just like the previous years, like the year we qualified after a pats win, that was one of my favorite jets moments, and I'm up for that again this year.

I have a feeling we'll win out. I always knew the potential was there, but the team kept tripping over their own feet.

We'll go 10-6 and have the 7th seed, if only there were a 7th seed.

    ??????

Come on Jet fan, if we play the we can we can match up with anyone.

I know people hate hearing we are the #1 defense and are only 7-6, but it is what is.

If we can keep Peyton off the field and when he's on the field give em hell we have a hell of a chance to win.

The Colts are a bad matchup for the Jets. They will force the Jets offense to perform and that is not a guarentee (QB at least). Hoping they are resting is how I feel too.

    It's a great match up,

We have the number 1 pass defense too.
Indy has the 17th ranked run defense.

We match up very well with Indy-

I am talking scoring wise. The Colts score a lot and probably still will vs. the Jets. Can the Jets offense keep up? Most likely the Colts will play a quarter of their starters and the Jets will pull out the win.

The Saints offense scored 10 points.

Come on man, keep hope alive. If the defense plays like it can we can stop anyone.
