backups are backups for a fucking reason. its rare and uncommon to find a QB that can't beat anyone in training camp to be a playmaker the minute he steps on the field after showing that he's a failure. Hoping and wishing.
95% of them haven't. They've shut their mouths and are searching the roster to find their next below average player who they'll wish on a star to miraculously become a HOFer.
He's not even a sufficient third string QB. I'm sure they can find one in the draft. Take a flyer on someone.
Clemens didn't fuck anything up........i wouldn't call that "leading anything"....let alone this team.
The defense lead the Jets to the Win. Kellen handed the ball of gracefully and threw most balls too high for either team to catch it, so that is a plus.
Well, in my opinion, there is winning BECAUSE of someone, or winning IN SPITE of someone. With Clemens performance, I'd choose the latter.
So, with the leading D in the league and the leading rushing game, how may wins did Sanchez "lead" the team to? And how many losses did he "lead" the team to?
Apples to oranges, really. Sanchez is a rookie. Kellen Clemens is not. But, back on point, Sanchez pretty much played well early, struggled middle and was on his way back before the injury. Gave a few games away for certain, but rookie QB's are there to manage a game and to that end, Sanchez has been about what we should have expected. Clemens is in the league for four years. That's the difference one could argue.
Blocker also thinks Miss Piggy is hot.......so one side of the proposed debate is already discredited.
