Kinda off topic, but for my suicide pool should I pick the Jets or the Giants @ Washington. Should have picked the Jets last week (went Titans) If Ryan doesn't play it should be a win.
That is just it, the area where the Falcons are most vunerable, the Jets cannot attack as the passing game has been bad. The Falcons secondary is pretty bad right now. They do have good LBs though. Nicholas is having a good season as well as Peterson.
Mike SMith presser is at 3pm today, I'll listen to it if it's on the local radio stations. In the meantime: http://life.atlantafalcons.com/topic/3879077-anyone-ready-to-talk-jets-yet/
I'd rather Ryan play us. This will prepare our defense better for the possibility of facing Manning and Palmer
our defense then, compared to now are two different defenses. we held the best offense in the league to 10 points, but the second best offense in the league smoked us. just shows each week is different. the ball bounces funny sometimes....
I don't understand this comment. You're saying that 80 percent of Ryan is enough to beat our defense? 100% of Drew Brees didn't fair too well and Matt Ryan is no Drew Brees. Or are you making an off-hand comment that Matt Ryan is better than our quarterbacks?
http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/USNJ0128?from=36hr_topnav_undeclared wouldn't it be great if this weather did happen, atlanta w/out turner and the passing game hampered by snow
Passing games are rarely hampered by snow. Think about the Pats-Tits debacle. It's a lot more difficult on defensive backs than wide receivers.
any type of precip on Sunday is bad for the Jets. Sanchez has not shown he can handle a wet ball and Ryan played at BC so he will have no problem. On top of the that Greene has shown he has a fumble problem so there goes our backup running back option. On top of that Edwards has questionable hands in great weather so ho will he do with a wet ball?
Damn, I was hoping we would be able to play the Falcons without Matt Ryan. Its still a very winnable game though.
