Great post abyz. I agree with all of that. I just want progess now too. Mostly from Sanchez and his WR's, Keller too. I also think the 3-0 start was a bad thing for fans. I predicted us to go 8-8 before the season, but then after starting 3-0, 8-8 seems terrible.
I would be ok with an 8-8 record. the main thing is I just want to see some fire and desire with these guys. 2 games out of the 5th or 6th playoffs spot with 6 to play isnt ideal, however string together 3 wins and you go into the final 3 weeks either a game out or tied... Things can get interesting from there...
I like the OP's optimism but feel there will be another bump in the road. Going foward, I want to see the miscues begin to fade away and see progress. As mentioned, Sanchez to Keller is one relationship to watch. How Sanchez handles the brutal, cold December weather is another thing to watch. This is not a lost season by any means. Let the staff get all the bumps out of the road now and progress toward next season. If some wins pop up, even better. Remember, rookie Head Coach and Rookie QB. You all didn't think this was going to be easy did ya?
We hung in there nicely, but the defense is only going to get worse down the stretch if this type of turnover-crap continues.. Just like last year with Favre's picks, they will wear the tread off the tires of the defensive players and we will start giving up big runs.
I like your guts. I think it's possible to get to 7-6. At this point I'm not even hoping for the playoffs, I'm just hoping that Rex and Dirty continue to learn and get better.
Well, you've been right so far. A few weeks I thought we were gonna lose to Carolina and was a little unsure about the bills. TB really isn't much of a threat though i dont wanna speak too soon
Your joking? Top ranked Defense and a rookie QB that has proven more than once that all he wants to do is excel. Many of the INT's and head first dives show this. More fire?
