ha i sent my money in too for 2002. actually my mom paid for it as a xmas present.she kept bothering me for what i wanted for an xmas gift. i kept telling her nothing. finally being so fed up i had her pay for the playoff tix.
I remember 2002 I was just out of college started my first job and the invoice came. Sent the money in before the Chicago game because I wanted it to be there in plenty of time. I remember Sunday night after the game my dad asking me how much the bank would charge to put a stop payment on the check as a joke. Turned out we looked pretty bright though for sending money in. I usually take the refund I don't like them having my money to get interest on but this year IF we get it (crossing fingers) I would probably let them keep it. I figure I already paid $500 for my seat so if I let them keep the other $250 or $300 I owe almost nothing come April.
In NY, tonight's headlines are: "Man Falls In Cesspool." My immediate thought was, "My God... Somebody else bought a PSL?"
So in your opinion anyone that buys a PSL is a fool, or the other option is basically watching the game from the top of the empire state building which seems to be a brilliant move. In that UD you'll be watching the huge HD screens anyway, why not just sit on your couch for that. Looks like some really high-end binoculars will be needed.
That second picture is the worst case scenario, last row upper deck. You can imagine how the game will play by looking at the size of the workers on the field in the photo. Just picture Mark Sanchez as one of those guys and based on that ask yourself if it's worth the money. It may be to a lot of people. I'm just saying I wouldn't pay more than about $65-$70 to sit there whereas the Jets are charging $95-$105.
Yeah I agree with that. Charging the 125 for prime is even pushing it now. That's more then LL seats now. The football is going to look like peanut, or a hot dog if Mark has it.
I just bought tickets to the first event in the new stadium the Big City Lacrosse Sat 4/10 1pm $42 each section 112 behind where the Jets bench will be. It will be a chance to check out the new stadium from a seat that I will never be able to afford. 3 games Del/Hofstra, Virg/NC, Princ/Syracuse. Never have seen a lacrosse game so I figured why not? A chance to see how the big spenders will see a game. LOL
Video Tour From the Star Ledger, nothing new just some video that was posted. http://videos.nj.com/star-ledger/2009/12/a_look_inside_new_meadowlands.html
I thought about doing that too, but I figure that most people there won't care about lacrosse and so you can basically go sit where you want, you just need to get in the door
If you already bought PSL's you can schedule a personal tour- Anyone that has should, it's a great tour and you can sit in your actual seats and they take a pic of you in them, lol.
