Flozell is just bitter because he gets his ass handed to him routinely at the LOS.

he's going to be suspended. I guess he wants to make sure Wade Phillips doesn't return.

Flozell is a shit. He's overrated, plays dirty and the single most penalized lineman in the league. Plus his name is Flozell.

He should be suspended. He SHOULD have been suspended a while ago. He routinely hits late, trips, and draws other personal fouls. He's a piece of shit and should be suspended.

This guy has been one of the dirtiest pieces of crap in the league for a while. He should have already been suspended multiple times for tripping, which is actually a lot more dangerous than a simple cowardly shove from behind. He's a piece of garbage, pure and simple.

BTW, I love how Joe Buck and Troy Aikman were so clueless about the rules, and apparently got no help from the Fox people about it during halftime. The Giants didn't decline the penalty, in the sense of not wanting the yards. The play was already over when he committed the personal foul; by rule, all penalties at the end of a half after the play is over are automatically declined. That doesn't mean he won't be fined and (hopefully) suspended, of course.

And somehow this asshole avoids suspension. Fuck you, Goodell. You've done nothing but hamstring the CBA and demonstrate your complete and utter lack of balls.

    1. You're absolutely right about Adams. He should not play again for the rest of the year.

    2. Stop blaming Goodell for the CBA problems. He's just a moderator and the Owners are the ones who need to step up on this one. The recent death of Gene Upshaw and the Executive Director turmoil has also hamstrung the process. The CBA is turning out the way it is because the owners want it to and because the PA has had to deal with its own internal problems. It is bigger than Goodell.

    1. I'd say great minds think alike, but we both know there isn't really too many perspectives you can take on this issue.

    2. I recognize fully that the CBA issue isn't limited to Goodell alone and that responsibility does not rest solely with him. Having said that, he's still the commissioner and brings no small amount of clout to the table. Just like a good moderator keeps a debate from getting out of hand by keeping the participants on topic and within the established debate parameters of the debate, Goodell's role in these negotiations isn't a passive one. That being the case and considering the apparent lack of any progress I would say that a fair amount of blame does rest on Goodell; less than cumulatively rests on the owners, but more than rests on any one individual owner.

    3. Don't try to redirect the hate directed towards Flozell. I would invent some manner of play on words mocking his name, but I think his parents already did that for me.

How did he not get tossed and how did he not get suspended? This guy is a repeat offender.

The commissioner has always played the role of the owners' ombudsman in these matters, just as the NFLPA ED is the players'. You're asking Goodell to go completely against his role here in asking the owners to capitulate to a scenario they, as a whole, do not want. This is not like 2006 where Tagliabue had to convince the owners to get their shit together or face a lockout. 2010 will definitely have a season with no threat of a players' strike. If there is going to be a CBA discussion, it's going to be before the 2011 season, just like the owners and players did not start negotiating before the 2005 season. The owners want the 2010 season to go as is, and the players are not pushing for a new CBA to amend 2010. Goodell is an administrator, not acting, voting participant. He has no power to act here. None.
