I've never seen what O'connell's arm looks like but I know I've seen enough of Clemens. Ainge seems capable but at this point it's pretty much pick your poison.

Another QB possibly injured under the BS offensive scheme , if MS does extend his career he will start sliding right after the snap. Where is my BS SUCKS emoticon?

I think this injury has more to do with playing on shitty astro-turf than the system. In fact, I don't see any way you could possibly blame this on Schottenheimer.

So now it is Schottys fault that Sanchez banged his knee on a crappy surface?

Yes, everything is Schotty's fault this year. That snow we got? Schotty.

Sanchez will play but if he doesn't I say we put Smith back there.

We do have the #1 rushing offense, Smith can throw it. Rex should give him some reps.

Since he played for Missouri we'd have to call the Tiger.

Okay maybe not but I'm so sick of this guy and this OS, to think we have a back up that still can't inspire any confidence because the OS is to difficult to run, I mean we always want the defense to improve why don't we ever ask the same of the offense?

Under this system we have had Injuries to all of our starters, Chad, Kellen, Brett, and now Mark, don't be surprised to see Kellen hurt on Sunday if he starts.

Sherry Rhodes was a QB. He can throw too.

    I'm being serious though-

Even when Mark has been throwing, it's been about 15 passes per.

With a backup in, it'll probably 10 passes.

Brad can handle that and can run like a mo-fo out of the backfield.

Passes per half, MS has averaged more than 15 per game

There is no way Smith can fit that role.

Whoa, back the truck up. Let's take this one at a time:

Chad: Love the guy, we all know that. He got hurt when Hackett was OC, then Heimerdinger, then Schotty, then in Miami. I'm thinking he's injury prone.

Kellen: He got hurt getting jacked in the ribs by an unblocked D-lineman. Schotty wasn't blocking on that play.

Favre: Was 39 years old and tore a muscle.

Sanchez: Doesn't know how to slide, even the Yankee manager didn't help.

Yes you are right, but they were still hurt, Chad, injury prone, good point.

Kellen: not even a full season starter, exposed to a poor protection scheme.

Favre: overused and even when he was injured he HAD him throwing the ball.

Sanchez: BS continues with poor protection schemes, but that's okay, when the kids career is shortened and our next QB is throwing int's left and right and our offense is still just average, even though we have talent, just then maybe then you will see things in a different light.

Maybe not, but Girardi most likely rubbed of some Yankee Magic onto Sanchez and that's good for some exciting comeback wins.

You think it's the schemes? Clemens' guy was totally unblocked, I doubt that was the plan. Both of Sanchez's knees--and Chad's original rotator cuff, since we're at it--happened running past the line of scrimmage in the open field. And Favre...overuse? The guy has been playing for 20 years or so.

15 passes per game? If I'm guessing correctly, its far from it. But I think a raw Ainge theoretically could be better than Clemens at this point. Ainge may not totally shit his pants after the snap. Maybe a wet fart instead. Brad Smith/Ainge combo could work on a young stupid defense like Tampa Bay.

This is now a Cutesy bashing rant:

    I can't read stats.

He meant overused after the shoulder injury.

35 passes in the Seattle snow. I'll never forget it. Way to go Schotty.

Of course it's the scheme, their not running your scheme or my scheme, their running BS offensive scheme, he has accomplished nothing as an OC and he continues to get a free pass, his offense is mediocre at best.

BF was throwing the ball after he had a Torn Bicep, please read the posts carefully, what OC puts the games on the shoulders of his QB even after finding out he cannot make the throws that are expected of him?.... oh wait BS does.

I saw KC get hurt I was watching the game and what is the protection scheme for a guy who is facing one of the most dominant defenses inside his own 30? max protect.

We can go back and forth on this because it is obvious you like BS, personally I think he sucks as an OC and as has a poor OS, with poor QB protection schemes but that is just my opinion.
