Good news. Hopefully its not a preliminary report. I haven't seen whether its the report from the MRI or not. He's tough, he'll play. I'd rather have an injured Sanchez out there than Clemens. Never thought I'd say that.

    Whew!!! from Adam Schefter

Mark Sanchez has a sprained PCL and if he can tolerate the pain, he can play the Jets next game Dec. 13 at Tampa. 3 minutes ago from web

I think his knees will always be a problem. But he can take hits.

Just stop fucking running around like his Shonn Greene.

I agree with this.....but the one positive I can take out of this.....is that Sanchez is a competitor and will bust his ass for a first down. I like his willingness to do anything to put this team ahead.

He does need to make better decisions with his body though.......but i can't fault the kid for giving 110% in the process.

The thing that worries me is that these "injuries" don't even look like much bad is happening. I'm not trying to hate on him, but I'd hate to see another 1 round QB who can't stay on the field.

Pain is a really good teacher. Maybe he'll stop flying around the field now asking for people that outweigh him by 50 pounds to hit him? He needs to put the slide that he theoretically learned last week into practice.

The struggles that he's had this year are half on Schotty, for being ignorant about how to raise a young QB, and half on him for being hard-headed about obvious things. Most great QB's are hard-headed about obvious things and then back it up with their play, it's a characteristic of the position. We just need Sanchez to be smarter about what he's hard-headed about and scrambling around on sore knees is a pretty obvious example.

At least he will have 5 days where he's not going to be on it before Wednesday practice

Also, I do not think he's fragile.

I know how you feel. I was thinking the same thing last night.

As long as his arm isn't being repaired annually, I think he'll be ok.

Lets get the OL fortified so that its only him running for his life that can get him injured.

This team needs a QB who can play a whole season. Especially with what is behind him.

He has been compared to Joe Namath in a lot of rookie stats this season and it would be extremely ironic if he ended up with Knee problems too.

Maybe Joe did sell his soul for that win-

It's good he has 10 days to rest, I think all will be fine. That turf last night was said to be sticky and harder too.

Plenty of time to rest, maybe very limited practice late next week? Very encouraging news anyway.

Matthew Stafford hasn't exactly been the picture of good health so far.

I think he did. And I think Joe has to enter the afterlife for this team to win a SB

How bad is a sprained PCL? Is this going to be a pain that is going to be with him his whole career? I'm thinking more long term. Short term, by what posters have said, he should be out there. Plus, Sanchez is tough.
