He tweeted already and it hasn't been an hour since the game. The league made a rule that you have to wait an hour after the game to tweet or else you get fined. He'll probly get fined. And he's blaming the drop on the stadium lights! That's horrible
Twitter should just be banned for Jets players. Nothing good has come from it since the season started.
He looked like he lost it cause he was turning his head back and forth but still. You gotta make that catch as a #1 receiver. He did do a good job later on with 2 nice catches. An yea, he probably will be fined.
Same thing happened to me in Little League. I told the coach I lost it in the lights and he threw me a "tough shit, kid" look. Braylon - catch the ball.
You put yourself in a better position to bring the ball down ...he was wide open by himself he could have made it easier on himself. This game should have been a blowout by half.
It should be noted that he wasn't explicitly trying to make an excuse. It wasn't like, "Guys, I dropped that because of the lights, it wasn't my fault." It was, "Great team win. Note to self "the lights in Rogers center arena are extremely bright" man I didn't see that first bomb." But yeah, I saw he tweeted so soon and I thought to myself isn't their some kind of rule against that?
Nothing good?!! The Brandon Marshall-Jetblue-Kerry Rhodes non-event was fun for like three whole minutes!
MEMO to the Jets organization PLEASE have all the Meadowlands outside lites turned off AT ONCE, so that Braylon Edwards does not drop any more sure TD'S !!! Also I just realized why Kerry Rhodes has been playing so poorly-----much like Edwards who loses the ability to catch KERRY loses the ability to tackle or for that matter make any plays at all with the lites on---pray for a blackout in Tampa or at least some serious cloud cover :smile:
But it does actually make a lot of sense... when the ball goes in the cone of the light you just simply can't see it... I'm not blaming that drop on Edwards.
Holy Sh*t! Braylon twittered minutes after the game ended. The Jets are done. Enough already. I'll take Braylon everyday on this team. He gives us a physical presence that we lacked before he got here. His TD was proof positive of that. Otherwise he just needs to hold onto the damn ball.
