183 yards vs houston, 299 yards vs NE, 286 vs Ten, 343 vs NO, 413 vs Mia, 296 vs Buf, 263 yards vs Oakland, 104 yards vs Mia, 347 yards vs Jax, 410 yards vs NE, 179 yards vs carolina and tonight 194 yards... I consider anything around 325 to be a chunk amount of yards... 4 out of 12 games the defense had played bad.. you can say, look at the teams that they held down, they all suck... Well houston has put up huge yard amounts, as has miami and carolina... Next week our defense gives up 225yards i would be surprised...

Our D has shut down some of THE best qbs.....our has been very solid.....under mangini we would be 4-8 right now....im glad ryan is our hc and i like what he is doing considering our d has faced the biggest injury it could get with the loss of jenkins....

Yet no one has stepped up on defense and you think its a valid point? I think you should pull your head out of Francesa's ass.
The D has mostly looked good. A game or two they let get away at the end, but overall they've been solid aganst good teams like you said. We really haven't been blown out by an offense, even the Saints, without our offense also giving away points.
I'm still trying to decide how Francesa will be negative today. He'll find something as always. In the Panthers game he was talking about how if the Steve Smith TD wasn't overturned it's 14-10 and the Jets would have had to make plays on offense. He says I wasn't impressed with the D cuz Delhomme gave it away. What he didn't mention is Dustin Kellers unforced fumble which would have made it 21-3! It seems like it's a one way thing for Fatty! I guarantee he won't mention the Jets should have won 31-13 last night. Instead, he'll make the missed passes and drops and make them a reason for huge concern! Meanwhile, if the Bills were the one who dropped those passes and messed up he would say how the Jets should have lost. Yesterday he was loving the Bills saying how TO is now motivated and the Jets should be worried. He said how the Bills are confident because they know the Jets can't run on them for 300 again and blah blah.
He'll go on about Rex in the post game criticizing Sanchez for not sliding. Brandon Tierney just did a half hour on it. Gotta love NY, the agony of victory.
So far he isnt being too bad. Gave Revis and Lito a lot of credit, complimented our run game. Ripping Rex a bit about getting on Mark for the dive but did say that Sanchez played really well. IMO he's still a chuncky bastard.
