If Sanchez is done for the year we are in deep shit. If this team is serious about running the table, they need to get a qb this week. I know this is short notice, but we can't win with Clemens. I would call Jeff Garcia tonight. Any option is better than Clemens at this point.

Sanchez head snapped back in frustration when the trainer told him what the preliminary check on the sideline said. That could have just been the trainer telling him he wasn't going back into the game but it looked like more than that to me.

You can walk with an ACL tear as long as you don't put sideways pressure on the knee as you walk. You can bike with one without a problem. I knew a guy in college who competed with a torn ACL for months during his competitive cycling season and only got surgery when then season was over.

This may be a disturbing glimpse of Sanchez having a propensity for injuries. If we do not trust Ainge to be our backup then we may need to get a veteran. Obviously Clemens is not the answer.

I tore my ACL and played on it for a month or so - it kept swelling and I thought I had a bad sprain. Like an idiot, I never got it checked out and I ended up rupturing the ACL towards the end of the season.

Some people have different pain thresholds.

I'm sure we'll hear about all of the tests and the injury during the presser.

If that was the case, he's right, but it's a little bit of a jump to make from just seeing it on TV. Hopefully he's wrong. That would be an odd way to tear an ACL from the way he landed. Who knows, we'll see tomorrow.

I said in the game thread that Jenkins didn't have much of a limp when he went out so, lets keep our fingers crossed!

They don't XRay for Pre diagnosed ACL injuries. They need to MRI.

i think its a sprained knee.

they kept him out because they knew they had the game in the bag, why risk it when in 10 days he can be playing again?

this is all my speculation and me living in a green house.

Look on the bright side. Having two shitty knees would only make him more Namath-esque. More likely to win a championship, I say.

Ryan says he's optimistic but I don't know. I've seen that look on his face before when he's forcing that optimism he has.

Rex says he's pretty sure it's just a sprain but will schedule an MRI

Do you really expect him to say it's torn? Personally, this doesn't sound good. Call Garcia now

If its torn, why wouldn't he say it's torn? That makes no sense.

It's the same knee that he broke his kneecap at USC

    shit.

well that explains the immense pain he's feeling.

in that case its a bruised knee and he'll be back in 10 days.

I am responding to you saying that Ryan confirmed a sprained knee. He said he THINKS its a sprain. Completely different. They still need to do an MRI to confirm this.
