Good point, but we could make the end zone sidelines green. I just think green on green sucks and green on white would look sharp. Bottom line, lets win on Thur. and have a chance to be 7-6 with a home game.... ooops sorry, talked football.. ha!!!!

I don't actually have one. I went to college in California and lost my Jersey accent there. I'm just happy I don't have a Baaastan accent. The only word they take issue with me saying is water.

    I say "would-er".

    They say "what-er".

I don't think the guy has a case at all. What is he a broker or something? Why does he have tix for Jets and Giants?

It`s all CRAP! THE OWNERS can come up with all the BS they want to to RIPOFF the fans but the bottom line is this ,when joe fan`s Avg. Salary is lucky to be $60,000 and your Avg. NFL Salary is $500,000 a year. How come they aren`t putting a 10% tax on these contracts and have them pay for the stadiums instead of the fans?

The end zone turf and center field medallion are removable parts that will be swapped between Jets and Giants game. Field turf doesn't unpaint well so this is the only way they could switch like this

When we first moved to Giants Stadium in 1984 we had these elaborate JETS green end zones with the AFC logo and all, over time it got to be less and less. They were also removable with the old Astroturf, then we went grass and had almost no decorations for a while. The first year, 84, when we played the Giants in December it was a Jet home game but one of the end zones said Giants, that pissed me off.

That guy is crazy if he thinks he's going to win.

It is nice to fantasize though, we'd all reap the benefits.

We've had them for 20+ years now, but never felt obligated to buy like this guy is saying.

We just love the freakin Jets!

The people with the heaviest accents moved from Brooklyn/Queens to Long Island years ago

I posted my proposed date last week, you missed it. Be there or be square, champ.

Regarding the accent, a couple facts about me: my parents come from upstate NY so I only grew up wtih a slight Jersey accent, and lived a lot of my adult life away from the NY/NJ/CT metro area, so what little bit I had is mostly gone.

One way to look at it is that the preseason games next year should worth something

If you just want to see the place you can get a free tour today plus they'll throw in a pair of free tickets. If you want to see the completed place you can buy tickets to a useless lacrosse tournament next April for 20 bucks (which has barely sold any tickets). What makes you think people will pay $95 and up to watch third stringers play touch football?

If by "worth something" you mean about 50 bucks, then yeah I would agree
