I would love anyone walk-on-type-player to make the team, ANY. Woodhead despite having an amazing college career, albeit not in the top flight, is still a quality player trying to find his way in the NFL. You have to look at Woody and ask is there any job he could do well ? Can he play HB ? Maybe, like someone has already said, he showed flashes of brilliance. But he is stuck behind TJ, Greene and Washington so the jury is out on that one. How about WR ? Well from what we've seen he seems to have great hands and obvioulsy turn of speed. How that translates from game to game remains to be seen as well. The obvious position (to me) is STs. How in the world can anyone see him at the pace STs is played??? So what do we have in Woodhead? Truth is, no one at this stage in his career really knows. I know one thing, if hes released again, he will be picked up and in true Jets tradition will burn us one day, most likely in the play-offs.

Woodhead is way to small... Hes not fit to be a big play guy... Would much rather have Leon Washington catching those passes outta the backfield....
That 1 inch Leon has on Woodhead will make all of the difference. Woodhead made a hell of a catch on a HIGHLY THROWN ball.
