when i look at that section all that i can think about is being at the 1985 wild card game with my dad in his season tickets section 129,and looking up at that section with all the patriot fans cheering and going crazy wearing red when the game had been put away. still to this day even this sunday seeing all those red seats, i envisioned that night when those patriot fans where there and the heartache i felt. my dad had put the tickets in my stocking. i can remember how happy i was to get them. man i cant wait till they tear this fuckin stadium down
I've been going to games for 25 years. I have had season tix for 2. I never knew that about that section. I sit in 328 so I can see it perfectly. Guess it wasn't that important to me.
Funny you say that, that same year I sat in that section for the regular season NE game in November, which Pat Leahy won in OT to give us first place at the time. I used to just get tickets wherever I could back then, and that day that's where I sat, surrounded by annoying Pats fans and their stupid accents.
thats such a shame that they build this brand new stadium, for 1.6 billion dollars or whatever and cant even manage to not have poles in the middle of the seating. honestly i havent seen a stadium that was built in the last 20 fucking years that had blocked view seats. thats a goddamn shame and proves they are completely retarded. i couldnt imagine paying more money and then having to sit behind a fucking pole.

The pole looks like it would ruin a whole bunch of seats. not only the ones even right near it. Also those railings look like a real pain in the ass to look through too. Glad I went eith the wait and see approach.
I just got 4 tix in 338 for some friends of mine for the 12/20 game - didn't know about that visitor's section. I'm right below in 237 so I never noticed it was empty. Hope they are ok sitting with the "visitors".
I sat in 339 for years-HATED IT!!!! Rite next to the visitors fans, family and booster club-------------we sat next to the nice people and more often than not, THE WORST OF THE WORST---------did I say I hated sitting there?
Come sit in 337. There have been some good fights over the years. The best was Jets Eagles in 2007 they had to have state troopers come take over. That game left a bad taste in my mouth for my feelings toward Eagles fan and I now despise them.
I'm not going to lie here. I've had season tickets since 1995, and have been sitting in the same section since 1998, (124), where I have a great view of 338, and until someone said it on this board a couple of months ago, I had no idea that it was reserved for the visiting team.
Okay, well, a friend of mine who tailgates with us, he has a friend who works inside the Jets organization. This isn't like a ground breaking news alert or anything but like that, but on the field next season we are going to see: Dark Green endzones (they'll paint the field turf, will not just be the color of the turf) with the white Jets letters like we're using this year, in the middle. On the 20's or 25's, on the side, there will be NFL shields. On one side of the field, it will be on the one side, the other side, it will be on the other side. At midfield, from the 40 to the 40, will be our logo, not the NFL shield.
I think we should have white end zones with green lettering to stand out from the field. We are green and white, no? Where's the white Woodyee?????
cant have white end zones, cant distinguish sidelines from end zone.that would be a bitch justifying 2 feet in bounds
No concerns man. Maybe if I was born in Cali and raised with goats I would have felt disrespected by that but I'm from Jersey.
