What about Boise State's Kellen Moore? He's having a monster season (38 TDs and 3 INT)... Same with Case Keenum from Houston Both of these guys will have questions about them based on the systems they play in, but where are these guys projected to go at this point?
Boise State's doesn't really run a ridiculous offense like Houston or Texas Tech. Boise uses a lot of trick plays, but they also use a lot of pro-style formations. Moore is a VERY smart quarterback and he's only a sophomore. It's pisses me off that he'll be throwing bombs on Fresno for the next two years. If Kellen Moore keeps winning games and putting up big numbers, he has a shot a being a Heisman finalist during his junior and senior seasons. I don't really know if his game will translate over to the pros. He's a lefty with a pretty weak arm, but the kid is deadly accurate. He also lacks elite size...I think he's barely over 6 feet tall and weighs under 200 pounds. Case Keenum is basically the same type of prospect that former Houston QB Kevin Kolb was in 2007. Kolb may have had a stronger arm though. In a draft that could be potentially loaded at QB, Keenum should go in the middle rounds.
It will be interesting because of all the coaching changes that could be made. There's the top tier guys then a lot of system guys and depending on how they're valued a guy like Colt McCoy could go to Denver in the 2nd round or fall even lower. I for one and looking forward to the Matt Barkely/Andrew Luck debate the next few years out west.
