Yesterday at the game I saw a guy in a Steve Atwater Jets jersey; at the Jacksonville game a guy had on a Glen Cadrez #50. I bumped into the Cadrez guy yesterday and asked him where he got it, turns out it was actually a game worn jersey which answered my next question--when were they selling Glen Cadrez jerseys? What's the strangest, most obscure Jet jersey you've ever seen at a game or elsewhere?
My Dad rocks a Santana Moss Jets jersey to the games. He's a Cowboys fan, but he's trying to be positive about me not liking his 'Boys. But Moss? Come on! lol.
There's a family of 3 that shows up to the bar for JETS games all sporting their #5 Leahy jerseys for the same reason.
When I use to buy jerseys I tried to get lesser known guys. I had James hasty, Brian Washington, Richie Anderson(I got it in 1995), Leon Johnson.
I talked to two brothers that wear Sanchez #8 jerseys. I had to ask them why the #8 and not #6. Their last name is Sanchez and they had the shirts prior to Sanchez coming here.
If you want to get very obscure, I have a game worn 1982 Joe Pellegrini jersey, #62. Although it's a bid snug to wear to the games...
There was a guy who sat a row in front of me, about 10 or 12 seats down, but he always came to the game in his Ray Lucas jersey, 1999 until last year. This year, he isn't there, so I am guessing PSL's pissed him off and he didn't buy for the final season. Still, I always thought that was funny/weird.
