We scored 10 points on offense. Don't get too excited.

Too early to tell. It's one fuckin game. A more conservative approach paid off today no doubt.

yea but alot of our drives weer stopped because of lil mistakes here and there. Mark looked great the whole game except for one pass which wasnt a bad decision just a bad throw. And there was very little questionable offensive play calls.

Pretty much. We also got 4 interceptions from Carolina and managed to do very little.

Just calling it like it is. We're not a good football team. Be happy with the win, but no need to get your hopes up.

Yes, answer me this, how many receivers did you see in the same area when MS threw the ball down field?

The Jets did not use a west coast style offense today, they used a style of offense more compatible with the basic Pro Formation.

The fact that we scored 10 points, it should have been 17 points, just shows that we did not sustain offensive drives, that will not be the case in every game, what I like the best in this game is that we did not ask MS to make everything happen and he actually looked very comfortable in this role.

If we keep up this style of game management this kid will develop nicely.

An offense that lets us win is good enough for me.

This was a complete game and managed well. Mistakes were made, but the team held strong and that's what you want. You can doom and gloom all you want, but all the mistakes were corrected and no one lost focus.

thank you.....my point was not that we are now offensive juggernauts lol it was that our offense actually didnt lose the game for once.

What I wonder is if we took todays approach would we have won 2 or 3 of those games we lost because of Sanchez' turnovers?? today we stuck to the plan and ran the ball no matter what. we made it tough for sanchez to lose this one.

    35 rushes, 17 passes

Outside of the throw that was picked being a little bit behind Edwards instead of leading him, Sanchez played well today. He hit open Guys, Took sacks when he had to. This is the type of play we need to see out of him for the rest of hte season.

The offense should have been like this all year. Very conservative, let the defense and specials control the game by not putting them in bad positions. They still need to stop fumbling, the turnovers by this team are amazing.

Absolutely, and if you guy's don't think that this is and indictment against BS you are fooling yourselves, if BS does anything other than what is asked of him the rest of the year, he will be fired.

Lets not get too carried away with the "smashmouth" offense. Offense played today like it was being lead by a defensive coordinator.

I'm happy to see the win and I'm okay with the ultra conservative offense today if it is an attempt to reset the offense and build some confidence.

However, make no mistake about it - Revis was the difference maker today and you won't go far in this league with a "punt until your defense puts you in scoring position" offense.

Good steps today but Ryan calling red light green light needs to be a very short term deal. If you don't have the right OC - get a new one.

Ultimately, games in this league are decided by QBs making plays or not making plays at crunch time. The most important thing for the rest of this year is Sanchez's learning curve.

baltimore won a superbowl like that but besides that i dont think our offense will be like that forever but its the offense we need to play until sanchez develops....
