Today Stafford was at home against a Packers team who just lost their best CB and a rushing LB. Before those injuries we knew tey could be passed on.

He just threw his 4th TD of the game and it was run back for a TD. Should Culpepper be in?

We're not as bad off as people make it seem.

stafford has shown some good things and some very bad things. he is having problems protecting the ball and is probably being asked to do too much. ESPECIALLY with a bad shoulder. i really dont understand what he was doing in there today and probably needs to sit it down for a little bit to see if things can get slowed down.

    sounds familiar?

Guys, he threw a TD and then he ran it back for a TD. How hard is that to understand?

Agreed. This is what happens with a rookie QB. You have highs and lows.

Both are young QB's Taking thier lumps in thier respective rookie seasons. Anyone trying to fighure out who is better now is trying to dig too deep.

I like Mark for our Team. The Lions should be very happy wiht Stafford in the future. The debate is points less.

First of all, calling Al Harris the best CB on the Packers is an embarrassment to Charles Woodson (obviously better, and younger too)...

Edit your OP too, you menat to say INT not TD

Sanchez & Stafford are both rookies. They are both going to look great at times, and awful at times. It's part of the leaning process.

doesn't stafford have less games started than sanchez? and he is still right up there with him in the int category. i know that flacco and ryan made everyone forget but this is how rookies qb's play. we will see if one or both develop in the next year or two. right now all we have to go on is a few flashes of raw talent both have shown.

How many of these freaking threads are we gonna have?

They are both rookies, and only time will tell.

One less start, and two more picks right now. So if someone wants to use that in this pointless debate they can

Both QB's have shown flashes of talent and horrible decision making. That's called being a rookie.... It's like some people around here forget that these things happen. I'm fine with Sanchez as our QB of the future.
