How many people look for posts beyond page 1? This is why its reposted repeatedly under different thread names. That's how it works. I myself have probably done it, as have a lot of people. He has a right to post repetitive info. Regardless of how many times it's been posted, someone usually has some sort of new info that sheds a different light on the subject.
I disagree with this..... there's such a thing as doing your "due dilligence" to read the board first before blowing your load on a new thread. Why should posters have to read the same shit 6 or 7 times in different threads?! Also...TGG exists on a server....and when threads are created, it eats up space. Now I'm sure Petro has "plenty of it"...but i bet he's cognizant of the fact that useless threads also waste space that he's providing. We should be cognizant of this as well. So.....there really is no excuse to post repetitive info intentionally...
The guy is still practically a rookie by college standards - moreless pro standards. Selecting a seriously inexperienced QB and then immediatly starting him is likely the greatest mismanagement of all.
The thread makes a lot of good points. Sanchez's play and the financial investment the jets have made in him is probably the paramount concern of the organization right now.
Florio predicts Tannenbaum and Ryan may get fired over this mess..of course Florio is a tool but he thinks Cowher would be interested if he could get both the GM and HC positions which wasn't possible last year because Tabbenbaum somehow survived the first fiasco.
I don't care if this is another Sanchez thread "Mismanagement of Sanchez" speaks for itself....the purpose of Supersonic is obvious; Shotty has NOT done a good job putting our rookie QB into "better" situations.. example: 1st play of the Jax game w/ a fly pattern (intercepted)...why??? although the poster didn't believe we ever called a "screen" pass, we do call them, maybe just not enough, but I agree w/ his point about more dinks & dunks to build up his confidence, but I believe the OC has put him into low % plays for a rookie....
Dude, seriously, STFU. There are no other theads that disucss his mismanagemnt. So I guess if any thread relates to shotty or sanchez we can't post it? Do you think everyone reads every post in every thread? Take a xanax, you anal retentive ass.
The first part of the equation is complete! I am sure I will be bashed for not tying this into a prior thread and bringing up an issue that has already been adressed over and over again. I still truly believe we need to make a change at OC. Weiss was always discussed but until today he was still the ND head coach and even with that writing on the wall we did not know what his future would be. The guy has 10-17 mil still coming his way so he certainly would be able to sit out. He stated today he plans on not taking any time off, wants to return as an Assistant Coach to the NFL and will not demand huge money as he already has so much coming in. I believe the guy has a great track record as a coordinator. He also is considered a wonderful tudor and teacher of the QB position. Its been stated all week that coaching the QB position is the single most important position in football but is the worst coached position. I say we go hard after this guy. I think it helps us bring in a more proven back up, he also probably has connections in the league to bring in his QB coach etc....... I think as Shhotty made indications last year he really did not want to stay he should have been showed the door. The guy never did anything that justified begging him to stay. The second 1/2 of any firing is who is the replacement. If we can inquire find out this guy is interested I think he is the man for the future. Its is the type of guy I believe Ryan can trust to run the best offense for the players on the team also.
no way.......i can see rex decking him for taking the last donut at a team meeting, the jets would go bankrupt trying to feed these two
this could have been added to another thread. I hope a mod does that. Weis isn't coming here because there aren't enough connections. He will go coach with one of his friends.
Weis will never be a part of the Jets due to his relationship with Billchick. Won't be surprised if he goes back to NE afterall.
Crap to all those comments. He stunk it up in ND and what better place to go prove himself than against his old mentor and with the mentor's least favorite team? He seems too cocky to not give the JETS a go.
Weiss is a great tudor and teacher of the QB position? Isn't Brady Quinn a product of this "great" program?
